Do not forget to use the white sealing tape around the threads on the male hose and turnoff valves. = no drips . The made quality is very well done.

Did not eliminate water hammer, but did lessen the banging of the pipes when shutting water off suddenly.

We got a new washing machine that created a water hammer when the water shut off. It was much more of a THUMP than our previous washer and I didn't want my plumbing to be damaged. Using these on the hot and cold water lines from the house to the washing machine made a HUGE difference. Easy to install, no leaks and the water hammer effect is gone.

Moved into a new house and our Washing Machine water hammers something awful being a real quick on/off water draw. These took the hammer down 80%+.I installed them onto the supply lines at the wall and perhaps they should have been installed on the machine side to be more effective. But overall, super satisfied with the function and price.

Item came as listed and installation was easy. Unfortunately, water hammer still exists. In fact, just as bad using no arrestor. Using on washer hot & cold inlets. Back to Sioux chief as these don't work.

The Water Hammer Arrestor is functioning well with no leaks, which is fantastic. I installed them on the laundry faucets and conducted tests at various water flow rates, but I couldn't replicate the hammering issue. The only concern is that they require more space at the top, and given the limited space I have on the existing valves, I encountered some difficulties. For new construction projects, if the contractor plans for more space in the valve area, it should work fine.
