I bought this sander because I prep airplanes for painting and my section is the wing. The weight of the sander is great for the top of the wing but when it comes to sanding the bottom of the wing the weight of trying to hold it up above your head/face is asking for missing teeth or fracture of your skull. I ended up sending it back because it was too heavy for what I needed it for

This thing is Great. I have used it for several hours and it works great. I have a big enough compressor that keeps up real well. It is a 60 gallon tank and 15 at 90 lbs. I think a smaller system would run quite a bit. It really does a good job. I am doing a 74 jeep cj5 and it had a bunch of paint to sand off. I really like it.

Purchased to replace one I have used since the late 80's. It has changed a little since then, but still appears to be of the same high quality. Lives up to it's name as a quiet sander, but does use a lot of air. You will need a robust compressor.
