Needed a compact right angle drill to drill out broken exhaust manifold studs in my truck. This one will get into tighter spaces than most and has lots of power.

We got this to clean up seized/broken fasteners in steel window frames being rebuilt. The fasteners in the early 1900s hinges rusted into place and had to be cut/drilled out and then the remains ground out without destroying the threads. The hinges abut brick walls, so a very compact right angle drill is required. This fit the bill great, along with a compact Sunex air grinder. This drill gave fine enough control to use a left hand bit to drill through the center of the bolts. Most bolts are totally rusted in place, so you follow up with the grinder to remove the rest with minimal damage to the threads and then re-tap. These tools pack enough power, but can fit right up against the wall. Plenty of power and control for our use case, and no issues. Highly recommended.

I am a heavy duty mechanic and use this at work. It is fair quality for the price. There is no comparison to the big name such as Snap On but the price is only half and the most important is it does the job. so it is a yes for someone to start in a trade until you have enough money for the better.

So for so great, I have a Sunex HD 800rpm and this drill chews up the metal way faster than the 800rpm sunex (dont know why, has to be the rpm). I build very large mechicanial structure and drill a lot of metal up to 1/2'' and sometimes larger. Dont know about the durablity tho.Mike
