Everything is great about these with the exception of the plastic housing. If you open these up to perform the annual inspection you can expect the clips that hold the cover to snap off by the second or third year. Unless you happen to have an extra faceplate you will have to replace the whole unit. However, this is a problem with all of the brands out there including the expensive name brands. If you want longevity you will need to buy the really expensive metal signs.

These exit lights are a good choice. They are lightweight but how heavy do exit lights need to be. Led lights are bright. I’m hoping the longevity is there. Time will tell…
