These work great and are way cheaper than what I get at HD. The duplex nails at the end of the mounts are a bit of a booger to get to set in your joists but you can ignore them and just set by using a drywall screw or any wood screw in the holes provided.

These 4 inch cans came out great. I wish I would’ve went with four-inch cans all throughout the project. They look modern and offer the right amount of brightness.

I've installed 20 in a remodel 900 sq foot small apartment. I had to shorten several of the sliders and it's easy. Just slide them together and break off at the little V in all of the sliders. My one issue was that one didn't work. I had to remove the can and work through the hole since sheetrocking was complete. It turned out that the black wire wasn't stripped before being pushed into the 3 hole wire connector. So there was no conductivity. I stripped it and reinserted it and it worked. This scared me because at first I thought the wire had broken in the wall during sheetrocking.I hope Sunco does better with quality by checking continuity from the orange light connector to the connector in the wiring box. I'm sure this isn't the first time this has occurred. Finally, it would be nice to perforate a 4" circle in the box with 2 "handles" on 2 sides. I would use those to push in the can to keep dust and paint out during construction after these are installed.

I needed canned lights for a remodel project in my kitchen. These were recommended in articles and reviews so I thought I’d give them a try. Although I haven’t installed them yet, the quality is excellent and they are tight little components.Look forward to getting them up into place. Thanks for a seamless interchange! When your house is torn up with remodeling it’s nice to know you can rely on Amazon sellers to follow through with their commitment on delivery and quality. Perfect!

These are excellent fixtures at $10 each. We used them under our waterproof deck with Sunco's LED inserts (2700K, also available on Amazon in a set of ten for $75), and the two components plug directly together. They mount easily, and include small nails in each leg that work well even with I-joists. The metal, adjustable mounting slides can be placed on any of the four sides of the fixture, and they can be easily snapped shorter for mounting between joists on 12 inch centers. As with most new fixtures, they come with press-in electrical connectors that handle various gauges of wire and make wiring extremely quick, assuming you like thee connectors. Personally, I'm not convinced yet of their long-term viability, so I chose to clip them off and use tried and true wire nuts, taped over with electrical tape, as I have done for several decades without a single issue, ever. But if you like them, you can get all ten fixtures mounted and wired up very quickly. I'll definitely use these fixtures for future work!

Installed ten of these cans with the 2700K lights and everything looks great. Lights were bright and the right warmth for the living room. The cans were pretty sturdy, but the braces were about the same as other cans I've installed from Halo. One minor complaint is that the nails supplied to attach the braces to the ceiling joists seemed a little brittle, but most of them were fine. SO far no duds in the pack, so may install some more in the future.

They are very well made and will work well for accent lighting around my house. I gave this four stars only because of the legs and nails that are for mounting the can. The legs were very flimsy and very close to the slide rail that the can sits on so it was very hard to hit the nail straight on also if the grain of the wood wouldn't allow the nail to go straight in the nail would kick off to one side or the other making it impossible to drive the nail any more but if you just use some roofing nails in the other holes and not the supplied nails it is much easier. The complaint is honestly kind of petty and the rest of the can is very well made and I'm sure will last a long time. The j-box has an internal means to secure the wire so you don't have to buy anything to be in code for installing wire in a metal box and the wago 3 port push wire connectors make for easy wiring. I uploaded a photo of the label inside the can that lists the ratings of the can which are for some reason is not listed in the description.
