It was good but I feel like it should last more than 4 years. It’s soft, warm and cozy. But it’s broken now, when turning it on, it flashes red and heat doesn’t work.

I'm a picky reviewer but this blanket deserves 5 stars. I was replacing a 20 yr old Sunbeam electric blanket & this one is similar but better. The material is SO soft. The cord being short doesn't bother me as I turn it on & leave it. Also don't mind the white sticker as it's on the back so no one see's it. My old Sunbeam was made the exact same way.I've had to wash this TWICE already. Spilled soup one day & tea the next so I can say that so far it has washed nicely & works well. The one negative is that it picks up lint easily & because I got navy blue it shows more than a lighter color might. I just use a lint roller though & keep it clean.10-6-19 UPDATE- I had given it 5 stars. Changing it to 1 star because I went to use it today & the red light just keeps flashing with no heat. I've tried unplugging it but it still won't work so it hasn't even lasted a year. Will order another but it WON'T be Sunbeam. Very disappointed.

Smaller than a conventional blanket however does the job really well. It's definitely a good buy.

I'm picky about my electric blankets. I use them for pain control. I use this particular blanket every day for 3-6 hours a day. I've had it since September. I put it through the washer and dryer. It still heats up very hot and is soft and lovely. Great color, too. There are other Sunbeams I'd never buy again but this is the one I will keep going back to. With my heavy use and six kids, these blankets tend to last about 6-8 months before I replace them, usually when (I think) a wire has been pulled too hard (kids!) and it just doesn't heat up as hot as before.

I should have bought this five years ago!! It is toasty warm and wonderfully soft. I use it to cover my feet and legs while watching tv at night. It is perfect! It is large enough so that you can sit in a recliner and cover yourself from mid chest/waist down to the bottom of your feet. One thing to note-- the cord is a bit strange as the controller is just barely long enough to reach to the top of the throw. It would be nice if it was a bit longer - but it is not a real problem overall. Buy this item you will not be disappointed.

Blanket is a very good size for one person, and maybe even two if you squish close enough. It lasts three hours, which is so convenient to someone like me if your home or apartment is freezing and you want to warm up before you fall asleep. There's three settings, I usually prefer high and the blanket heats up within a few minutes of turning it on. If you throw it over your bed on top of your other sheets and throw it on high, it will instantly heat up the rest of your bed too. Haven't experienced any technical problems, the blanket is still very soft, easy to put together and use, and is perfect and does just what I intended it to. Definitely $50 well spent.

The blanket is very soft and cozy. Perhaps too warm and cozy. My two cats have taken it over. And even thought we have only had it a couple of months, the blanket looks years old. The cats claws get caught in the fluffiness and snag it. And then the snags have morphed into 4 inch long rips. These are just two average indoor house cats. Sunbeam might want to line the microplush. Just my thought.

I'm one of those people who is cold all the time. Everyone else in my family is hot-blooded so our house is cool most of the time. My husband got me this blanket as a gift. I love it. It gets warm but not too hot & there are 3 heat settings so you can adjust it. It's great that it turns off after 3 hours since normally once a bed is warm it stays pretty warm. I often turn it off before then. It's not bulky & it's easy to move from one part of the house to another so it comes in handy at times for lounging on the couch. The only cons for me are: 1. It is a tad short for me if I'm fully stretched out (I'm 5'10" so for taller people this would be more noticeable-- OTOH for people who usually curl up to sleep it would not be a problem) 2. It is really easy to turn it on by accident and not realize it.

My husband really feels the cold. I've tried several solutions in the past to no avail. Found this just in time for Christmas (terrific delivery service, too!) and he just loves it! Its plush texture is incredibly soft, and the rich blue color is a beautiful shade.
