The box was so beat up it was obvious it has been returned before. Pump wouldn’t work. Called the customer service line and all they would suggest is returning the whole thing. That was easy enough, but bummed it didn’t work out.

I had the same issue I read in the reviews, where the water wouldn't spray from day 1. I could hear the motor running, but nothing was coming out. I hooked it up to the garden hose and that seems to have blasted out whatever debris was clogging the line. Since then, it has been perfect.

I was excited to try this misting fan out... but the misting pump wasn't working right out of the box. Fan worked... no mist. I can't tell you how disappointed I was.

My grandson plays little League baseball. Here it can get over 90 degrees. Even days in the low 80s can be brutal. There was a problem with the misting unit at first but an adjustment fixed that. We added refreezable ice packs to the water. The kids are now in heaven. May have the get a second one for the bleachers. A grandparents job is never done.

I do a lot of chainsaw work on my central Florida property in high heat and humidity. I bought the mist fan to help me cool a bit during rest periods while I sit on a camp chair in the woods drinking Gatorade. At first, I got no mist at all when siphoning water from the bucket. The mist fan can be connected directly to a garden hose, so I tried that and the mist appeared. Ever since the pump was primed that way, the fan siphons from the bucket and starts misting immediately. I didn't use it for a month, and when I used it today it started siphoning and misting immediately again. The mist is very fine with the mist nozzles properly installed, but the fan was able to direct it onto me even in a slight breeze. I loved it! I'm hoping I'll be able to work an additional hour or two in the heat now because of the recovery periods with the mist fan.

1st unit - pump is on no mist or water going up tube. 2nd replacement unit same issue. It just doesnt work zero mist!

While the product is well made and easy to use it does not project a fine enough mist.
