The smaller size is perfect for my iPad and many things. My Kindle w/cover fits in the slots perfectly, as does my iPhone w/cover. The removable lip allows me to lay paperwork or newspapers flat. The stuffing is soft and never uncomfortable, with enough height for easy reading. The wood and design are very attractive. The plastic insert at the top is also removable if desired. I use this every single day for one thing or another. It is extremely well-planned and intelligently designed for many various uses. So happy I took the time to find it. A best buy!

Size L(21.6"x13.8"). Build quality is excellent. I've had two of these, one smaller and this one. Had to return the smaller although it was equal in build quality. This one is perfect for me, a 5'9" user, sitting on my recliner or couch. I sit a large remote keyboard on it or my 16" laptop and also use it for writting on 8.5" x 11" paper. My large size Apple iPhone fits well also. Love this laptop desk!

When my previous lap desk was no longer usable, I wanted to find another good one. Am very happy with this replacement. The bamboo top is pretty, durable and sturdy and it isn't plastic! I also like that the lap desk has a cup holder and small compartment for a pen or phone. The fabric bottom is in dark brown and the color offsets the lighter bamboo nicely.

I got this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. It is the perfect size (they have larger ones) for her needs and lightweight enough to carry around it the bag they provided us with.What more can I say.....

it's perfectly fine. Wish it were wider to accommodate a mouse, but the larger versions just have the laptop centered, not on one side to allow a mouse. The only problem is that bamboo stopper on the bottom broke immediately. Should be made of a harder wood or on the cross grain.

After just a few uses, my laptop felt a little wobbly. I found that the small bamboo strip they use to keep your book/laptop from sliding down is broken. I've repaired it twice using wood glue, but it's not going to survive long. I love this lap desk completely EXCEPT for this one small thing. They could have sent a couple spares allowing a defective one to be replaced, or could have made it just a bit thicker for better durability. love the feel of the desk top and bottom, and wanted to use sustainable bamboo, but the little strip leaves me less happy.
