I’ve been doing cross stitch since my grandma taught me how at maybe age 6-7? Now I’m 31 lol. I’ve been doing it on and off over the years, so I’m not an expert, but I’m definitely not a newbie either.I’d been seeing these in stitching communities online and had trouble finding some to actually buy, so I was excited to find these. I hesitated on it for a while though because they seem a bit pricey, but finally I decided to try them.I am a klutz and tend to poke myself with my needles fairly often and don’t love the little finger protectors you can get. But these pretty much eliminate those annoying finger pricks. I also feel like it makes it easier to get the needle directly into the holes in the aida - sometimes I’ll have a hard time getting it there vs poking through the threads that have already been stitched there.So even though they might seem pricey, I think it’s worth the investment. My only complaint is that they didn’t have a bigger set! I’d definitely buy more (especially as an ADHD-er who misplaces everything, but that is a me problem!).

Needle was delivered Aug 9 - loved the needle, was a huge fan of it, I like the ball point at the end, went in smoother & I no longer accidentally poked my finger… but on august 27 the needle literally broke in half. Never had a needle do that with hand sewing, didn’t even last 3 weeks. It comes with two so I’ll see if it’s just a fluke with the one but if it breaks again I’ll find another needle to purchase in the future.***Update*** second needle broke 3-4 days later. Never again.

I don’t think it makes it any easier to cross stitch. I have more problems with it getting caught on other threads then anything. It does make it a lot less likely that I go through anywhere but the whole

These needles are very useful. No more split aida cloth, you know exactly when you’ve hit your mark. They hold up over time and add to the pleasures of stitching.
