I’ve been working on this for a few days and some of the paints are so thick. They seem old and may not be enough to cover the areas it’s supposed to. The colors are vibrant and it’s a beautiful house but I’m not happy about the paint quality would like to request fresh paints that are not old plz

I used metallic paint for a change on house, windows, door and sidewalk (not roof). The gardens needed detailed flowers also. All in all a very enjoyable painting experience. Now if someone would change the ‘pink snow house’ into paint by number from diamond art, I’d really enjoy that too. 😊

This is a really nice easy starter painting kit for getting into canvas painting. This kit includes multiple tubs of paint colors a different set of brushes given the different sizes of the areas to be painted and deep instructions on which color should be used for which number on the canvas. This is an easy way to get into the feeling and texture of what it feels like to paint on canvas with decent quality paints. And yet the price point is just short of $10. The result is a painting at the end which looks like it was done by a professional even though the whole process was guided. That one can gain some experience with how to do painting, mixing up brushes and following the painting instructions, in order that it's easier to do one's own painting on canvas in future if helpful. I like this kit.

The value you get for this product is wonderful - it will take you hours and hours to complete it, and it's very relaxing and soothing. It is super easy to do, even for a non crafty person. The paint is all ready to go in neat little paint pots marked with their color number. You do need to wet your brush and add a drop of water to the paint pot to make it a little thinner as the paint is very thick and gooey and would be too hard to use as is as well as you would most likely run out of the color is you wouldn't thin it down. Just add a drop of water and stir it up and ready to go. There are a variety of brushes and it's best if you use the thin brush to outline each area first, then go in with the wide flat brush to stroke large areas to save some time but still do it neatly and within the lines. This picture is a little forgiving, so nobody will notice if you mess up a little or paint outside the lines. My only complaint is that some of the preprinted red numbers on the canvas for knowing which color to use in that section are so, so, so tiny it's almost impossible to read, or tell the difference between numbers like 8 and 6. But again, in this painting if the numbers are super duper tiny, it's because that section to paint is super tiny as well, so would people notice if you use the wrong shade of blue (let's be real, most of this painting is blue, blue and more blue)? Probably not. In another painting, it might make more of a difference. Have fun and paint away! Love it!

While I noticed the description for this piece said 'without frame'...I had no idea that meant a folded piece of canvas, not even stretched onto a wooden painting frame. So - first added expense. Also, even though the (very minimal) tips/directions say the paint can be diluted with a few drops of water - there's just no way this is enough paint to cover the canvas, and make it look like the included picture. The heavy advertisement that's it's great for kids? The only things a child would get from this are frustration and disappointment.

This is the first paint by number ive ever done as an adult. I think this is a great way to work with acrylic paint when you don't own your paints or can't afford them. The supplies can get quiet pricey depending on what you buy. This set comes with everything you might need to make a painting. 4 paint brushes which might I add isn't the best but they get the job done. I suggest buying at least 1 good brush. Also it comes with the paint pots for each color & a good quality made 20×16 canvas. The paint is water based so iI is adding a drop or 2 to the paint which will also make sure you have plenty to use. Adding a little water will only help stretch your paints. Also, if you can't get the wrinkles out of the canvas, a simple clothing iron will do the trick. I tried laying some books on it a few days but it wasn't as flat as I wanted it. The set doesn't come with any sort of frame so depending on what you do with it, you might want to tape the edges. I outlined each section before painting the rest and it worked for me. If you want something to help pass the time, a new hobby, or if you just want to try out acrylic paint...this set is awesome. This won't be the last one I get for sure.

You get just a flat cloth canvass with all the necessary tools but you’ll have to figure out how to frame it. You get 2 small hinges and 2 screws but nothing else. If you do plan on purchasing this I encourage you to have a display idea in mind first.
