But then there are those frigid, windy, wet days when storms from the Gulf of Alaska blow down my neck during required work hours outside. Nothing short of polar bear attire will keep me warm on those bomb cyclone days.This hat is awesome. It fits well on my large head. All the interior fabrics are super soft. I can snap it around my neck and over my face, as needed, with a little bill to protect my eyes. I love it.

Warm and has two pieces that cross over front. One for lower neck area and one for mouth, that can be used separately or together. Very nice feature. Has adjustment cords which are very thin mine broke while pulling to hard but salvaged them. One in rear that tightens skull and two on front to tighten the face opening. Easy on easy off way way warmer than the hood on my jacket or my other winter wool caps. I'm really happy with purchase as it stays put in high winds and is easily adjusted.

I have a big head 7 3/4 and this fits me just right. Can be adjusted to smaller heads no problem. Fleece lined will keep you warm. Nose and mouth covering is a plus! Value for your money, light weight.

Very warm. Used it to shovel in negative Temps and was sweating. Doesn't really work with beards. Facial hair sticks out through the gaps between the two face coverings. Wondering why they decided to have two face coverings instead of one. Would be better if there was one solid face shield with a zipper. The button snaps are pretty cheap. I can see these buttons breaking easily.

The hat is fantastic. I use it to plow my driveway and three others in upstate NY with below zero temps and high wind. Combined with a snow mobile mask with goggles I don't feel the cold at all.

I try NOT to have to work outside in the cold, snowy weather, but sometimes, it is unavoidable, and the hats I have been wearing just do not work well enough to both stay on and protect my head, ears, and neck. Well, this little number changes all that! It covers my head, neck, ears, and the lower part of my face, while leaving my eyes uncovered, so I can wear my glasses without bother. The adjustable drawstrings help mold the hat to one's head well, and avoid the ice wind blowing down my neck! The three layers of this hat are also waterproof as well as windproof, so your comfort is assured. Sadly, this hat is NOT a thing of beauty, but then, when I am working outside, that is my LAST concern, TBH! It seems a trifle expensive as well, but since it does the job admirably, it is worth the price! If youu too have to work outside in our current ice and snow, this is the hat for you!
