I bought this pump to replace an identical pump I had for our outdoor fountain. The fountain runs all daylight hours every day. The pump lasted about four years which seems pretty good given the run time. This pump was essentially identical and works just as good as the original. The only trouble I had was the pump intake arrived cracked presumably due to shipping. I was outside the Amazon return window and tried contacting the vendor directly. I told them the situation and they sent a replacement pump to me the next day, no trouble. I’ll be buying from them again for sure as their service is outstanding.

We needed a small pump to fit in the opening inside our fountain. This worked fine. Didn't give it 5 starts because it doesn't pump 5 ft as advertised...this pumps about 2 feet up.

Seems to have enough power to run the little waterfall feature. Quiet. Small. Cord is a little short. 4 out of 5.

I am using this pump in a water fountain on my back patio. It works great and is providing a great water feature that is both pleasant and practical. The fountain creates a soothing sound thanks to the adjustability of the flow rate. It also invites the area birds, especially the hummingbirds, to come and bathe in it. Something I didn’t expect with the rapid water flow rate I selected. The pump itself is quite, so all you hear is the water falling. This is what attracts the birds. To see them come and enjoy their stay is both exciting and satisfying. I also really appreciate the ‘dry burning protection’ design because it’s a protection for those unexpected and unavoidable situations that could destroy the pump. I am really pleased with the pump and recommend it for similar applications.

Stronger than my other pump I bought but still a little weak but does the job. I use it for my distillation glassware.

Only one thing needed....a 5" or 6" tube attached to the pump to be above the top of the water in my pond but thats purely personal design. Other than that it works great!
