Increased an inner gasket, then the pond light has two sealing rings(outer o-ring included), it is Dual Waterproof mechanism.

Firstly, please make sure the inner gasket attach to the surface of the light well
Secondly, please make sure the inner sealing ring is placed well.
Thirdly, please screw up the cap clockwise properly and tightly before throw it into water.
IR Remote Controller:

Remote Tips:
- Please remove the plastic insulating film on the bottom of remote before use it.
- Please keep the remote from water, and keep it dry. Once water get in, it will stop work.

Waterproof Tips:
1.Please make sure the 2 sealing rings are in the correct position, especially, to keep the inner sealing rings in grooves
2.Please screw up tightly before put it into water, then the 2 sealing rings would will work collaboratively, that will not let water in,
3.Please dry inside and outside of the light, in particular, the thread and groove before you use it or store it.
4.After you take out of the lights from water, even though it seems that there is no water inside the light, because it is possible there is water vapor inside which also will damage the component in some time, please try to dry inside of the light, in particular the thread and groove where the water hide before changing batteries, It is very important!!!
Battery Function Tips:
1.When the lights stay on red color, means low power, it will need change a battery.
2.Get the batteries out of the light if our do not use it. Since there is still standby consumption power inside.

Update: QooLife has contacted me via email to organize a replacement for the faulty light. Other than the issues with the one light letting in water even thought it was tightly closed, these things are awesome and our daughter loves them in the bath!I cannot get the Contact Us form to work on QooLife’s support site and I tried emailing but nobody has replied.I ordered the Qoolife Submersible LED Lights Remote Control Battery Powered, RGB Multi Color Changing Waterproof Light for Pool, Vase Base, Spa, Aquarium, Pond, Hot Tub, Decoration, Party, 2-Pack on Amazon. We love them, but I noticed there was water inside one of them even though it was closed tightly. I have pictures of the one that didn’t get water inside so you can compare to the one that did. Please let me know where I can send the pictures. The batteries are ruined from the moisture and there is mold or some kind of buildup on the inside of the device as well. I am requesting a replacement, plus three replacement AAA batteries (or their cost) please.

Very bright. Beautiful colors. I use them outside in winter under ice. Batteries don't last long, but I am sure not many last to long in freezing weather. I think they would be great in a pool .

Light works well, even underwater as advertised. Colors and patterns are nice and give many options. My only complaint is the remote. My lights are placed in an outdoor fountain right outside a window - maybe 3 -4 feet at most. The remote will not operate through the window at that distance - meaning each time I want to turn them on or off I have to go outside and stand next to them. A nice light - just keep that in mind.

Bath time is my favorite time for me to relax, unwind and have me time. This light adds the perfect ambience for a relaxing bath night. I love that it comes with a remote and you can change the colors in the settings to fit your mood. It takes three AAA batteries in the set up is super easy. I highly recommend this product. It comes in a two pack, but I only need one so if anything ever happens to this one I have a back up.

I purchased this for our inflatable hot spa. It is about the size of a makeup compact. It’s very bright. It is water proof. Now the only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the remote does not change the light if it’s on the bottom of the spa. It has to be close to the surface to change the color. I would recommend to a friend or family.

They work great underwater. I've made sure to screw them shut tight and haven't had an issue with water getting in. Lots of options for different light colors and sequences. My only complaint is the short battery life. Each requires 3 AAA batteries and don't seem to last too long. I've had them 6 months and had to change the batteries a few times each already. I don't use them all the time, maybe 3x a month. I've tried leaving them open after they're dry in case that prevents the battery from wearing out. But I guess it's a small issue overall. I don't have any other complaints! They are easy to use and convenient to store up on a bathroom shelf.

I needed a small LED for a 3D print, I wanted RGB, battery powered, with remote, of a particular diameter, and this LED is perfect. The brightness is very good and the quality of the build is surprisingly good. I was expecting a very cheap plastic case with mediocre transparency, but it is very sturdy and clear, so that was a bonus. I have not tested water resistance since I don't need it, but it looks like it would easily survive being sprayed with a garden hose. All in all I am more than pleased with this light and would buy it again if needed.
