For the record, I do mix with a coconut apricot wax! Coconut apricot wax is fantastic but I needed a smoother and higher fragrance load candle wax. This is good alone, but I like making a special blend to get all the benefits I'm looking for. This wax is SMOOTH! No black soot like others are saying. A lot of people leave their wicks entirely too long and that can make you throw soot too. Try cutting your wicks back or measuring your fragrance load by weight.You'll love working with this wax!

I LOVE this product I use it to make fire starters its perfect for it. ALSO it's soft and I can cut it up myself so I don't have to have my husband cut it for me with his saw and I am super grateful as I feel this is a great deal in $ for me.

This product is really easy to use comes in pellets so you don't have to chop it up works well as candle wax I have bought this brand several times

So I usually buy directly from candle science because everything is half the price of anywhere else... yes but shipping on the other hand.... wheewwww it's OUTRAGEOUS!!! So im paying LESS now for this wax off amazon... AND the wax is simply perfect!! I even weighed the wax because I seen some comments of wax being under weight... and mine was 4 oz OVER weight. So thank you I will now be a customer from now on with making candles ! Xo

I’ve tested this wax with several different wicks. It’s easy to work with. I didn’t notice it doesn’t have a great hot throw. I’ve added Vybar to it which helps. Also hold color very well.

We really like working with this wax. Sometimes when we need a more pliable wax, we mix cooking oil, crisco, or petroleum jelly with canning paraffin. However, it's nice to have this premix soy blend. It cuts really nice, almost like a slightly thawed stick of frozen butter.At room temp (67°), it's semi-pliable, but it forms really well in your hand once you hit the 80s and 90s. It doesn't really leave any waxy film on your hands (wearing gloves because we am working with different wax blends at the same time). It's just slightly oily to the touch.

Bought 20 lbs coconut soy wax & 10 lbs suave smooth because I'm so confident that it will be a great wax for my candle making as per the description is very good so I blindly order large amount then why not.But it turns both wax dried hard and very fast,no wall adhesion I'm using clear glass and all the candles turns out looking bad in a clear glass.As I'm expecting maybe suave smooth will work better so I also used it,I have no choice I badly needed the wax.I followed the instructions and so on.But all my candles dried a lot of bubbles and bad adhesion of the wax and tried to heat gun the next day and took me long time to remove bubbles.Oh dear I hate to say this is the worst wax ever I purchased.
