worked great on my 110 year old radiator valves. Old packing was all but completely gone in the bonnet nut. Cleaned and repacked with this before winter arrived-warm and toasty with no leak at all. Ready for another 110 years!

Use this chain to add security to our boat motor.. it’s maybe not the most sturdy chain for the job but the diameter fits nicely for how we wrap it around . It would definitely deter a thief.

It worked like a charm! I got this item because there is 8' (don't look for the spool - it's in a zip-lock bag, but I checked and it was indeed 8') Other products cost nearly the same; they have a smaller diameter and are MUCH shorter. Since it has a larger diameter, I only needed one single layer around the valve stem - no multiple wrappings were needed (however, you can always add another wrap later if this is not enough for your particular application. Don't worry about the square shape; it easily compresses into the correct form when you tighten it. I'm set for life on valve stem packing- really a lot of bang for your buck!
