I seem to go through 1 of these a year at our seasonal. Every one either leaks at the tap or one of the divider taps fall apart. The main reason is plastic components. This one has none. Everything is metal and Heavey duty. Nothing to strip or crack or snap. This thing should last for years.

This garden hose splitter has one connection to water supply and 3 outlets to connect hoses. Each outlet has its own valve to control the water flow or shut off. These valves are ball type, easy to use, durable and reliable.This host splitter has a star shape that each connector has space to connect other controllers such as water timer without bothering the use of its neighbors.It is made of one-piece solid brass, very heavy and robust. The connectors are full brass too. Very good quality.Recommend.

I keep having to replace my water splitter because it fails. Either the valve breaks, or the know break off after baking too long in the sun.This is a very bulky and sturdy version of what you would typically find. The valves have a nice tight feel to them and you can really feel them closing shut with an extra resistance (a good feedback).The knobs are plastic, which is concerning, but seems to be a good quality plastic, time will tell if they are UV rated. They are replaceable though, if the company was selling them separately that would be ideal.Overall, this feels like a quality product. And I have no concern that it will last longer than my other water splitters. Just how much longer is the question I can't answer just yet.

I love this 3 way brass splitter!Everything about it screams premium. It feels heavy duty, and the brass construction AND the components that aren't brass feel like they'll survive a hundred seasons. The fittings and moving parts are very beefy and I absolutely love that there are individual controls for each water spigot. They even include washers for the hoses you'll be connecting!. The ball valves look and feel premium and have a very fluid motion - but not loose, either - just a nice, firm amount of resistance so you can fine tune how much water gets delivered per spigot without it moving by itself over time.While this splitter seems just about perfect it's important to know that nothing stands up to a freeze when filled with water, so drain or remove this before it gets cold. Here in Canada it's easy to forget about your hose in the fall and get surprised when temperatures dip a little too far overnight.The splitter also adds a lot of weight to your hose bib, so unless you are mounted in brick or concrete you need to be careful - it's not just the weight of the already heavy splitter, but the weight of 3 additional hoses.Highly recommended as a high quality hose splitter!

I have a garden hose splitter before but that one is made of plastic and so not durable. This one is made of solid brass which won’t rust. It is ¾ inches hose splitter and is a 3 way splitter. The handles are made with aluminum alloy which is anti corrosion and anti rust.It comes with a small box which I can feel some weight on it as it is made of metal. It has a solid feel when I hold it. The shut off switch requires some force to turn initially. But after I turn it a few times it becomes smoother to turn. I like that the switch is coated with green color. It is easier to tell whether it is on or off. Usually when I turn a switch clockwise it means shut off, counter clockwise means open. But this switch works in the opposite direction. I need to remember this when I use it.It is Canada winter now with outside temperature of -10C and obviously I can’t test this splitter now. So I can only comment on how it looks and how it feels. I think it is fair to give 4 stars rating for now. I may update this review when I have a chance to use it when spring comes.

I connected the manifold to and with outdoor hoses. None leaked, even though I did not use pipe tape. The open/close switches operate smoothly. They have a palpable ‘stop’ when you have them fully open.A good quality hose washer is in place, with 3 extras provided, probably for the hoses that will hook up to it. The single end’s connector is brass. I expect it will hold up better than the plastic connectors on my current manifolds.Rating: very goodMy scale: 5 star = excellent (or has a special feature), 4 star = good/ very good (does what it should), 3 star = average (has a minor flaw) , 2 star = below average (multiple flaws or does not perform its function well), 1 star = avoid (does not fulfill its mission). I rarely use the word ‘perfect’ and I rarely assign 5 stars.

This is obviously quality; very heavy and well machined. The off set allows for multiple water timers (many splitters do not). The larger ball valves allow for a noticeably greater flow of water which is necessary for large impact sprinklers. There was no leaking anywhere. The handles were my only complaint as they are a bit stiff and too close together to get a good grip on them with arthritic fingers, but I have that issue with most splitters. The big positive point with the handles is that they are metal and secured with hex nuts, so are conceivably repairable. I find most failures and leaks after a year or two occur due to plastic, non-replaceable handles. This is a pricey splitter but if I get years of extra use it will be a better value, not to mention the extra flow allows for greater coverage, needing fewer timers and sprinklers.

They said 'solid brass' and they mean it! I'm excited for my next growing season and the 3-way will allow me to add another timer and still have an open hose for manual watering or cleaning. I am impressed with this splitter and it's quality. When in the hardware stores I've kept my eyes open for a solid splitter - NO plastic! This item is heavy and the green coating on the flow valves is great. I appreciate that I can look from a distance and see if the valve is open or closed due to the green colour. When I saw this online I was wondering if it was a waste of time to order it. It was not and I would purchase this item again. (one for the front gardens is a definite potential!)

The first indication that this is a solid splitter was the weight of the box when it arrived. Inside was a solid brass 3-way garden hose splitter. This is heavier than any other splitter I've had. The individual male connections are well cut and hold your garden hose on securely with a solid connection. The individual valve handles are made of metal which is perfect, not like the plastic ones that get brittle and break after being out in the sun for awhile. Also in the box are two (2) extra rubber hose washers.Each valve is a little tight, but turns on and off without a problem. Inside each connection, there appears to be a white plastic or Teflon ring that each ball valve rotates on, helping give a good water tight seal.I like the angles of each connection, makes connecting individual garden hoses easy. They are also great if you plan to attach a watering timer to any of them. As long as the splitter and the individual garden hose are properly tighten, I've had no problems with leaking or dripping water from any of them.These are great, I plan to get another set for my back yard.
