Solidly constructed and well packaged. Works as you’d imagine. TWO POSSIBLY MINOR ISSUES: First, the little rubber feet came off the same day I put them on, so don’t bother. Second, the holes for pencils, pens, etc… are very shallow - maybe the depth of your average pencil eraser. In addition, there are two diameters of hole, yet somehow they manage to be oddly sized and fairly useless for just about anything I’d use them for - pencils, micron pens, brushes, x-acto knives, mechanical pencils, and so on. Honestly, I havent found anything they will work for. Perhaps you’ll have more luck. The little boxes are a good size for erasers, though. It’s not a big deal to me as I have those things close by and don’t use the holders anyway. Still seems like a fairly easy thing to address. Still a keeper in my opinion, but I would have been disappointed had I purchased with the intention of using the storage areas for pens/brushes/pencils. TIP: If you have a soft kneaded eraser, you can break off enough to thoroughly fill one of the holes at the top (only tested it on the larger holes) which will enable one to push the sharpened end of a pencil into it and it will stay. Seems to work for a desktop type situation.

One upon a time I had a functional drawing desk but it broke and I haven’t replace it. But as I’ve been drawing more and more I really missed taping so at an angle. I found this option and I really liked how it looked, plus I saw the potential of not only using it at my desk, but also in other rooms around the house and even elsewhere. I have to say that the product didn’t disappoint. It’s big enough for my sketch book and it has a little “stop” so it doesn’t slide, I could also use it with a piece of paper although I would use some washi tape for that), and I can adjust it to different angles easily. It’s sturdy, not light really but not heavy, and the quality of the wood feels really sleek and fine.I’m really loving it so far.

I like to color with colored pencils and this easel allows me to angle the page so I am not hunched over. I can prop up on the couch easily. The pencil holes are not universal. So some pencils will not fit. I’m not worried about that anyway. It is sturdy and stays in place. It slides easily between positions. Its not too heavy and I have a loveook upgraded laptop bag, it just fits!

Been looking for a a nice easel for my digital drawing pad and for painting that looked good, was easily portable, various degrees of elevation, it’s got it all! It’s beautiful, well made and has a great finish on it, so glad I found this one!

Really nice table easel, very solid (a bit heavy, but I prefer that over cheap particle board or the like) and well built. The different heights for the rest are very well thought out for artists who prefer their canvases at different angles. It is portable, as it lies flat with handle.The two things that are weird to me are the pencil holes - i would prefer them to be drilled through so you could slide it in rather than a balance thing - as i dont use them as is.The ledge for your canvas is also remove-able which i could see as helpful if you want to fold it flat, however i am thinking of gluing it into place.Anyways - i would purchase it again in a heartbeat if i lost it. 10/10

Needed a table-top easel for painting and sketching. I like the dark finish and simple but sturdy design. The ledge that runs across the bottom is removable, which is handy when I'm working on a larger piece. Would have given 5 stars but a long sliver of wood came away from the ledge after just a few uses. It doesn't affect the function but is worth noting. Another nice feature is that it can easily be carried around by the built-in handle.

If I had known how shallow the carved holders are I would have purchased something else. I bought three of these for our homeschool art lessons but we are going to have to finish drilling the holes out in hopes with the tilt angle our brushes and colored pencils will stay.The wood looks good but I also wish the stand ledge was on a hinge instead of a peg system. I would like to fold it completely flat and stack them for storage.
