These were a decent weight and not flimsy. They are just what I needed as far as size. The cover is a good height.

The good: I use these trays for indoor mushroom cultivation and they work perfect for that. The 9"x13" dimension, shallow tray, and generous dome height are all great. I also like the sturdiness of the material. It's semi-hard plastic that doesn't easily break when cleaning or carrying but does bend when twisted at opposite edges. I also appreciate that there's not an intricate design on the inside which makes cleaning difficult. The other trays made out of this material have a weird circle pattern inside and it drives me nuts. The bad: I ordered the 5 tray set in black and the pieces that cover the holes in the lid are green. I've been trying to order a replacement but keep getting an email from Amazon that the seller is out of stock when clearly it is not. Idk what's up with that but I'm annoyed. Also, a few of the lids didn't fit the trays perfectly. They were slightly too small so I have to put something on top of them to keep to keep it from popping off. Another thing worth noting is that these will melt if left out in the sun. They're fine in a heated greenhouse or outside in the shade but not in the sun.

I bought these about 6 months ago in June 2024 and they have held up amazingly. Super great for the price and rather durable too. Though I usually have try to be, I’m not a very careful person so a few cracks in these were honestly expected. What I’m really pleased about is that despite some being kept indoor others being neglected outdoors, the only part that cracked on any of them was the very top where the sides fold over to make that edge. I haven’t had any issues with larger cracks or it breaking anywhere aside from that top part. The only downside is that it’s just a little thin and can be wobbly so you do want to be careful how you handle it when moving them if it’s full of soil, however I’ve found that if the soil is in pots with tray to catch water it is still more durable than just straight soil!

I like these trays, although they are smaller than my previous trays, but they are so much sturdier. They can hold 6-4" seedling cups and it's easy to water the from the bottom. They are narrow enough to put one in front of the other on my rack.I am hopeful these will stand the test of time and not crack next year! The only downer is their size (which really is my fault, I didn't look). If I decide to order more, I'll look to see if this company has larger ones. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase and what I spent.Cheers!

The flats look sturdy and will probably work fine. But I found them by searching for "1020" - that is, 10"x20" nursery flats. They are not that size, they're smaller. The dimensions are right up there in the initial description, I didn't read them right - and there are a lot of other reviews saying "these are smaller than expected". I guess I was tired from all the searching I'd done.So - for what they are, they look like they'll do fine (I got them today, so haven't really tried them out). But Amazon search gives them to you when this isn't what you were looking for. Pay more attention than I did, if the size is important to you.Two years later - these are excellent. None of them leak, not even the one that got squished under boxes and no longer stacks or nests with the others. They are small, but quite sturdy, and are easy to carry full of pots (because small). I've used them through two growing seasons and now starting a third, they've been stored outside year-round, and there's no brittleness to the plastic or any signs of deterioration. Worth getting, worth what I paid, and I'm considering another set.
