Magnet is super strong I thought it would be a good idea to put these in the bathroom and hand things but for one the screws are ver short and they are very hard to match size if you want to change withought it sticking out. Over the years the screws began to rust so they should be stainless but just keep Pitt of a moist area I suppose

Magnets came with U shaped metal mating surface which I didn't expect but was impressed at that particular detail. It came with screws to mount the magnets but not the plates. The set was a good buy though and very strong.

J'ai peu d'expérience avec les aimants en néodyme.J'ai été surpris qu'ils puissent tenir sur le bord de mon comptoir de granite, malgréle peu de métal qu'il doit contenir.J'ai encastré 5 aimants dans une pièce de bois pour fixer un strore et un rideau à une porte d'acier.J'aurais pu en mettre moins, car la force nécessaire pour retirer le tout est remarquable.

Very impressive power. I 3D printed a cradle to hold these magnets, and I included a 1mm standoff feature so that the mating steel part wouldn't be too hard to pull off! The magnet looks sturdy, and I don't expect to have any problems with the magnet cracking as I have seen with other products. I have one gripe--the holes in the base piece aren't well aligned with the magnet, so the screws can barely go through the holes in most of the magnets. The manufacturer would only need to enlarge the through holes in the base part to fix this.

I had an old cabinet that just wouldn't stay closed, the doors were slightly warped. Installing this magnet in the center of the door was a game-changer. The magnet is SO strong I have to seriously PULL to get the door opened. Now the door closes tightly and sits flush, just what I wanted. Great product.

I used four of these to stick a wooden adapter to the bottom of a motorcycle while I maneuver a jack to lift it. These are very strong and hold the adapter securely, even though the magnets are covered over with rubber tape and the frame rails are round not flat.The magnets come with fitted steel channels for some reason (maybe reinforcement), which can be removed. The included screws are a nice touch, makes for a clean installation. The magnets worked great in my application, highly recommended.Just be careful to keep them separate, if you let them slam together they will break.

This one is very strong! Price is light for its strong magnetism. Affixed this to the back of my knife rack and attached four steak knives securely.

Very good and strong. The casing makes them harder to break and the holes are convieneint for placing them for heavy objects. They will work through a couple thicknesses of fabric or canvas and even one thickness of cardboard. (Think outside tarps or covers) Do not throw away the package or the plastic separators. If you ever need to put them away for a while, you will need the separators to stack them.... that is if you ever want to get them apart again. LOL! Great little magnetic work horses.Added hint. If you want to use any strong magnet to hold things on a smooth surface like a refriferator, or metal cabinet, put a little strip of tape onto the smooth surface under the down edge . Just that little bit will not allow the magnets to slid down over a period of time.

I wanted to make a "magnetic wand" to use to retrieve nails from the ashes of my wood stoves when I use cut up pieces of packing skids for fuel. Neodymium magnets are good for this application but they are usually hard to attach other than using adhesives and are notorious for shattering if impacted by hard objects. These magnets solve the attachment problem completely (just don't tighten the screws too much or the hard metal of the screws may crack the magnets) and the metal shroud gives significant protection against impact damage. So far very pleased with them. They do this job very well and much faster than my previous method. One further comment... I investigated getting these magnets direct from China via common Chinese online retailers. It turned out that the best price by a significant margin was here on Amazon. In addition, many of the offers by Chinese online retailers were deceptive. For example, they would show the same photo as used on Amazon of 8 magnets and the price was attractive, but in the fine print it was stated the offer was for only 2 magnets. You have to read the fine print carefully! Otherwise verndors will take advantage of you.

I got tired of trying to figure out ways to hang thinner tapestries like maps printed on cloth and so on. I started out trying round neo magnets by using a countersunk magnet as a base and then a disk magnet on top. While that worked well it didn't place pressure along a greater length of the seam (along the top). These magnets worked perfectly couple with thing rectangular magnets.As everyone should know but it seems there are exceptions, neo magnets can shatter, break when subjected to shock from dropping them or letting the magnets snap together. These are not toys and can and will pinch skin to the point of blister or tearing if you aren't careful in handling them.I like how the vendor included the right sized screws to mount these magnets. While sourcing the screws isn't a big deal this is just the vendor making sure the customer has everything they need to get started right.When mounting these magnets, make sure you don't just let the magnets sit somewhere while you choose a location as anyone walking by with ferrous metal on their belt, watch or jewelry will find the magnet snapping onto it. I found a neat way to handle these, simply wrap them in the small bubble wrap that comes with mail order items and put a rubber band around them until needed. With just little bit of isolation the magnets won't jump to metal objects or each other with hard force.The price is right, the delivery is super fast and the quality is first rate, I'd buy these again then and will when the need arises.
