This has over 500 positive reviews and I don't understand why. It is not secure. The metal beams on the sides of the ladder are weak and bend under slight pressure. It is extremely wobbly when climbing it. I don't trust this ladder to support someone over 50lbs. I am disappointed and will return.

I ordered a ladder for our daughters bunk bed. We set the ladder up it was very un-stable, not safe as it says in the description. We requested a prepaid return label numerous times but we were denied. The ladder cost $198 postage to send back $50 restocking fee 20%. Not a great company to purchase from. Now I’m out $198.

The ladder was a good purchase for one of our bunk beds in our RV bunk rooms. I did have to cut it down to work with the height to floor ratio recommendations. What this means is it’s not recommended to have more space (in inches) between the bottom rubber feet resting on the floor to the vertical wall. Besides, you don’t want that big of a footprint on the floor taking up space when cutting the legs down will be within the recommended distance. I do think the price is a little high but, hey, anything RV accessories is crazy high right now. The “bubble” won’t last forever.

Our NOBO travel trailer did not come with a ladder for the bunks. After looking at reviews I ordered this one with the intention of cutting it down to the size we needed. My husband cut it with a hack saw and then transferred the rubber tips to the cut ends. We left it as a hanging ladder so we can lay it on the bunk when traveling.

Ladder was bought for my kids bunk bed. I cut about 3" from the bottom to get the right height. Easy to cut with a hand saw. Also buffed the ends with a dremel. The ladder seems strong enough to hold 160lbs; however, I've seen the ladder slightly lose it's stability closer to a weight of 220lbs. If you're using this ladder and weigh over 200lbs, I would consider a ladder made of wood or steel. If it's for kids, like in my situation, this should suffice.

Converted the over cab entertainment area to a loft bed for my boys. This ladder worked great. It was long and I cut quite a bit off with a saws all and it worked great. Came with the hardware to mount on the bed itself and 2 different sets of hooks. One large pair to hook over a bunk bed rail (I guess) and a smaller pair to use on the provided mounts.I recommend mounting it closer to straight up and down rather than at too steep of an angle. I think it might bend under the stress. My boys are big and it is holding up great.

Not that well made. Hooks on the top of the ladder get loose very easy. Considering the build quality it is way over priced in my opinion. Wished there were more choices available. Despite the cheap construction it does work (you just have to be very very careful when you use the ladder)

Works great for my Jayco 18bh. Sturdy enough for my kids. The ladder was slightly to high/long, but the rubber feet on the bottom come off easily and I could cut a few inches off the bottom legs with a hacksaw.

Very nice ladder, Sturdy with nice rubber step pads. Had to cut it down to fit my RV's upper berth, but it cut nicely with a hacksaw. Nice sturdy and strong brackets to attach or fit in existing berth brackets.

Very good, I do think a bit pricey for what you get as the ladder is simply aluminum. I had to decide between the 66" and 60", as I needed to cut this down to 50" for the bunk beds we have in our camper trailer. I choose the 66", for it was slightly cheaper and I thought the steps would line up better with what I was trying to do. However, the gap between these steps is 12", and the floor to first step and last step to top were about 15". A bit odd I thought, . . . as I now believe the steps on the 60" are also 12", and then all they did was extend the tube for the first step and last step to make a 66" ladder. So, . . . as I was cutting it down to size anyway, I cut right at the first step, and then cut the top down to be the balance of what was needed. That did required the captive nuts to be recovered and then re-inserted in the top tube. All that said, we now have a great set of stairs (with very even steps) to the top bunk and the grandkids don't need to use the cabinets any more. Also to note, the stairs come with two mounting options, a "hook" only, which hooks over the bed rail of the bunk, or, smaller "hook" and slot mechanism where the slot receiver is mounted to the side of the bunk rail and the smaller hook inserts into that receiver. We choose the later, for feel it will be more stable and secure. Enjoy!
