it takes a ton of efforts to use this to strip the winter hair from my horse. I was worn out after using it. My old shedding blade worked tons faster and easier. The price was definitely not worth it.

Love the Strip Hair and bought it based on friend's recommendations for the product and using theirs on their horse. I love mine and it makes a great shedding tool, grooming tool, and massage tool. I really like it because it still gives me physical connection with a horse when I am teaching them to be groomed as I commonly work with more feral or untouched horses. The Strip Hair is great because I can keep contact to know if they are tightening muscles or relaxing and is great for using a grooming tool on a horse that will not harm them as it has no sharp edges. Is great for bonding and gaining trust or simply building a great relationship with your horse. I have also spread the word as other people who have more "special needs" horses like very elderly, but still shed a lot have needed this tool as their owners were going to older metal tools to deal with the shedding and I brought this over and the hair just came off in lines and the sensitive older horse was not harmed and was just "rubbed down" to get the hair off. I did try it for bathing, but the shampoo I use is not super lathering so that may have been an issue as I think it may work with a more lathery shampoo, but I ended up using my fingers to scrub. Easy to clean and wash off, even with a little chemical cleaner if used on another horse to prevent disease spread.Con - The towels. I tried them. I washed them in the sink after speaking to a rep. I laid them flat out to dry. . . . . . . . .meh. They simply feel like thick paper towels that are nice as you are able to wet them and maybe rinse them and go back to using them for whatever you were doing, but they aren't super strong or thick. Challenge to wash and I don't need more to hand wash or lay out flat to dry. Don't last super long. Would rather have actual fabric. Would only get the Strip Hair next time.

This is awesome for shedding season for our horses. I’ve also used it on our German shepherd pit bull and it worked great on him too!

This works great!! better for the de shedding part than the getting dirt off in my opinion, and i haven’t tried give my horse a bath with it yet but i’m sure it would be great!!! 10/10

I don’t have a horse but my 95lb yellow Lab mix loves it for grooming. He just stands and begs for more by not moving and looking at me asking for more grooming. LOL

This if by far the best and most simple horse shedding brush, I have all the other kinds but will definitely keep this as a must.
