My thin-skinned Appendix is sweet but sensitive and politely leans away from all brushing especially on his neck with any brush or touch. A fellow barn friend told me about this product in relation to better grooming. I have continued to be shocked - my gelding LOVES this tool!! He will now lean in for this tool to go over his whole body including his neck. He seeks it out and it has really made our grooming sessions more enjoyable and effective. I 100% recommend it!

I rarely ever write reviews, but this brush is so wonderful that I had to stop what I was doing to let everyone know how great it is. I bought the brush to use on my 3 large dogs and 1 small dog - all indoor babies who she'd like it's their full-time job. I was hesitant about buying it because of the price. I'm SOOOO glad that I went ahead and spent the money instead of cheaping out on another inferior grooming tool that would end up being added to the pile of unused brushes! The dogs just came back inside from running around in the pasture and rolling around in dirt, so it was the perfect opportunity to put the brush to the test. The first dog I tried it out on is an older Boxer/Pitbull mix. The dried grass and dirt came off of him effortlessly. He loved being brushed with it so much that he fell asleep and started snoring while I was brushing him! The next big baby got jealous and wanted in on the action. She's a 2.5 year old German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix who sheds hairball tumbleweeds year-round. This brush worked amazingly to grab all of the loose hair that had accumulated since I brushed her a few days ago with a terrible brush that sounded like it was just breaking her hair with every stroke. Within minutes, I had two big handfuls of hair removed, and her coat looked nice & smooth. She also loved every second of her impromptu "spa treatment". Fur baby number 3 is a large, old mystery mix. She has bad spots on her hips from her former life as an abandoned oilfield location stray and sleeping on rocks for months. She's very fearful of anyone messing around near those patchy areas, but she didn't flinch at all when I gently brushed over them with our new brush. I haven't had a chance to try it out on my 17.5 year old Dachshund mix yet, but I already know he's going to love the rubs. Finally, I decided to give the brush a try on a small section of an area rug. WOW!!! So much hair came up that the vacuum couldn't get!!!I have arthritis in my hands that makes it painful to grip a brush handle for very long. However, this brush didn't cause me any additional pain because the size of it made it easy to hold regardless of what position it was in. I seriously can't say enough good things about my new StripHair Gentle Groomer! The only complaint I have is that I don't have enough hands to brush all of my dogs at once because they were attacking me with "kisses" trying to get another turn with the brush. LOL

My horse has thick hair, so it doesn't pull out the hair like in the videos. It has a lot of uses and does a decent job on most of them. I like that I can just take one brush and stick it in my pocket and have it work for several things. There are tools and brushes that my work better but they are not as convenient to take with you.

I volunteer at an equine therapy barn. We have multiple types of saddle pads: foam, lamb's wool, quilted, felt and others I cannot identify. Our saddle pads are used heavily throughout the day. I've used rubber curries, fascia brushes, body brushes, and metal curries. Each tool has its strength, but each has a drawback. I ended up having all sorts of brushes/curries IOT clean different types of pads. Then, our barn began a work program for mentally challenged teens and adults and their major focus was to be the tack. It became too complicated. On YouTube, I saw a young girl demonstrate StripHair on her quilted saddle pad. I bought this product to give it a try and am impressed. Our crew LOVED it. I just bought 3 more as we have 4 cleaning stations, and everyone wanted to use this tool. Our special needs staff can use this product and it WORKS! Hair and dirt can be loosened and removed easily. No damage to the material of the saddle pad. No concern for safety to the user or to the item cleaned. Its indestructible and can be gripped by all types of hands. Every side of the tool (and I mean every side) can be used to clean a pad.As a plus, all declared that the rubber smelled like chocolate and that made it better. I would not say it smells like chocolate, but what do I know? :)

Striphair is amazing, it does everything, great tool during shedding, gets mud off, good for scraping water too and my horse loves the flatest surface as it's like a massage!!
