Great product as it give good protection from very sharp blades on the auger. A bit of a task to find the right placement of the rubber strap but would not be without it. Recommend

If you want the real thing, spend a few more bucks and get the real thing. This quality product is not made in China but in a country that knows about ice fishing.

I wore out the old guard years ago and had just kept my blades bare foot all the time. I wonder though if there was any correlation between the guard missing and my blades dulling up very shortly there after? At any rate I ordered it and it came P.D.Q. making me a happy customer. It's in perfect shape and fits great!

I expected this guard to fit like the old one, it did't. It is not cut out to fit the head of the auger. It will work but I may need to use my dremel tool on the plastic to get it to fit properly. Poorly done for an item that costs $17.00 when it should be around $10.00.

I purchased this as a gift for my brother. He needed a replacement and it works very well for him. He loves how easy it is to put on and take off, and he loves the protection it provides - protection from serious injury from the sharp blades and protects the blades from dings.
