The price is pretty good. I definitely would buy again and again as long as they are $2.99 but with price fluctuations I have seen them for over $5. They are my go to bait for canal fishing as there are toothy pickerel in my local canal that can cut through 10lb test fishing line. I use this bait as it keeps the fish away from the fishing line and the single hook is less of a hassle removing from thrashing toothy pickerel. The bass seem to like it as well and the occasional bluegill or redbreast sunfish.

Will catch fish, but if you use a swivel, it will run down the wire. It would work much better if it had the “safety Pin” attatch point.
