Item arrived in a loose bag style packaging. Not much to look at and a little difficult to use. I am a big proponent for the right tool for the right job, so I ordered. Does it work? Yes. Is it fussy to work with? Also Yes. The item appears to be cast and i am not sure if it is aluminum or pot metal.I am not sure it is that much easier than the zip tie method to get stretch to fit belts back on. As for removal, the belt is usually in need of replacement when you are doing this kind of job so just cut it.

Works great for fords and gm. Used it on a ac belt. Took a bit of convincing but it worked.
