  • NEVER WORRY ABOUT BREAKING YOUR ROD - Our Easy No-fault Lifetime Warranty has you covered. We have "streem"-lined the warranty process that will have you back on the water in a few days... not months. All you pay is a small shipping and handling fee.

Not too soft and not too stiff, the Brook Series action is just right. It has a medium-fast action which makes this series one of the most versatile High-Performance rods we offer. It is the perfect all-around rod that will get the job done for any fishing situation you encounter. It is just stiff enough to punch a tight loop but still a little soft in the tip to protect you from breaking off fish on light tippet. From dries to nymphs to streamers this is a must have rod that can do it all. Our Brook Series Fly Rods break down into 4 pieces that can then be stored in a durable protective tube making it portable to travel with.

I’ve been fly fishing the beautiful rivers and streams of Idaho and Montana for the last six years with the same rod. It was time for a new rod, and this came recommended by a family member. I was not disappointed! This rod handles exceptionally well, medium action (which I like), and it’s lightweight. It’s easy to transport, as it breaks down and comes with a traveling case. I fish at least a couple of times a week, and this has held up beautifully. On a superficial note, it’s a nice color and looks great. I would highly recommend this to any fly fisher, beginning or advanced. It’s a great value for a well-made product.

Very lightweight, very nice color feels amazing with a fish on. I used it maybe 7 times so far and enjoyed every moment it's currently cleaned up and placed in it's protective case it comes with which is also nice. I recommend this rod to anyone

My husband has been fly fishing for decades, and usually relies on his favorite fly rod as he wades the rivers and streams near our home. I took a chance getting this rod, but I also knew he was the perfect person to review it. He announced he was trying it out and did I want to come with, so last night we set out for its maiden cast. He LOVED it. And that's saying something. He liked that the rod was firm enough to really cast a fly out there, especially since he began the late afternoon with just a teeny size 19 gnat tied on the end of the line, since it's March here and that's all that was hatching. After catching a half dozen 11 inch rainbows, he came back on shore with a big ol' grin. "This is nice. I'm liking this rod." The weather had changed to a rain/snow mix, so he switched his fly to a black and blue streamer of some sort and waded back into the creek. I caught glimpses of him downstream as he pulled in trout over and over. After I got a fire going, he finished up fishing and had only good things to say about the rod. "It's got great reaction--makes it easy to feel a fish latch on and to work it into my net." He was taking it apart and putting it away. "It's a good length too. It was a delight to cast, and I could really work that streamer I tied on in under the willows." Our son had been out there fishing with him, and he came ashore and gave it a look over. "Good eyes all down the rod, nice and not too whippy." The rod breaks down into 4 pieces which is great to travel with, and the case is very nice, high quality. Couldn't be more pleased with this.

I needed to replace an older rod with something temporary as I try to find the right rod and I guess I got what I about expected. But failure of this kind should never been allowed off the floor. And in general I'm a pretty positive person, so yea...seriously disappointed..

I'm so excited to have my new Streem fly fishing rod. Having only recently taken up fishing, I was unsure if I was ready for fly fishing. I did quite a bit of research and realized this would be an excellent beginners rod. Streem has some brand recognition in online communities and I can tell that the rod is very well made when I received it.I wanted a Medium-Fast rod, as this matches my other beginner rods and it is a common recommendation online. The rod is easy to assemble and the carrying case fits everything snugly. The case is a fabric material, so I suspect it may get dirty in time, but for now the baby blue case looks fantastic. The cork handle doesn't have any issues and the threads on the rod are all perfect, as expected. I'm really looking forward to my first fly fishing experience and I'm reassured knowing I'm equipped with a good quality rod like this one.

I am writing this from the point of view of someone who had never been fly fishing before. I had always wanted to learn so I decided to give it a try. I cannot compare it to other fly rods, but wow, this is a nice pole to learn to fish on.It comes in a very nice tubular case that holds all the pole parts. The pole is easy to assemble and stays together, which is good considering how much flicking is done with this type of pole. The weight seems good, not too heavy but at the same time heavy enough to feel good in my hands.

I am a fairly avid fly fisherman and get out onto the water at least 20 - 30 days a year. I have several fly rods, including another 9ft 5WT to compare to this new Stream 9ft 5 Wt Brook model that I was able to recently get out with and cast for an afternoon. This model is a slightly more moderate action rod than my St. Croix Legend Ulta 5 wt, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. I really depends on the water and the flies that you are fishing. For example, the St. Croix is horrible at chucking big heavy flies, but with the right line I thought you could get away some decent streamer fishing on this Stream rod. It's a very nice looking rod as well, with a deep blue color that looks great in the sun and nice cork handle with an aluminum reel seat. The Stream rod handles very nicely, even if it's not an ultra fast rod. I was able to cast and sustain some beautiful long arching loops with this rod - setting the fly down very delicately to not disturb weary trout. It did well overhead and side-hand, you need to cast parallel to the stream to avoid getting caught up in the brush. Unfortunately I wasn't able to hook any fish on the day that I tried this rod but I really enjoyed casting it and I am looking forward to getting out for some of the big hatches that come off on the rivers I fish in the springtime. Overall I would highly recommend this rod!

This fly rod hits a nice sweet spot between value and performance. It has a good quality medium action rod blank with a decent quality, cost effective seat and guide set. The wrapping is nicely executed. The cork grip is good quality (with some filler as expected) and exceeds my expectations for a rod in this price range. I really like the simple and lustrous deep blue finish. It also comes with a nice hard case. This 9 ft 5 weight rod is arguably the most versatile configuration for all around fresh water fly fishing....you can apply it to most situations. If you are looking for an affordable, quality fly rod this would be a good choice.
