Strathmore 300 Series Vellum has been my preferred draweing surface for many years and I require it for my drawing classes. It holds up under extensive pencil work and erasing without failing, tearing, roughing and always erases clean.

I've been drawing on Strathmore paper for over 50 years. No reason to switch. The vellum finish is great for graphite and colored pencils.

This paper is just perfect for me for my colored pencil artwork. I absolutely love the smoothness and the fact that it takes little effort to achieve the smooth color texture without any paper showing through. This is now going to be my go-to paper!

I used this paper to print pictures on to color with colored pencils, watercolor pencils and alcohol markers. I have tried all 3 mediums and all 3 have worked very nicely.

I do watercolor illustration and this paper provides just enough texture for the Prismacolor pencil elements, while being smooth enough to allow great detail. It is opaque and heavy (at 100 pounds) and when taped down, is excellent for watercolor. It was wrapped in plastic, which saved it from the idiotic delivery driver who left it in wet grass. It was also, however, loose in a large box which, un padded by bubble wrap or paper, allowed the bloack of paper to rattle around during shipping, which CAN damage the corners, rendering it useless for a several hundred dollar piece of art.
