I use these as a cover for handmade holiday cards to business contacts. It's heavy enough not to look cheap but sheer enough to not block the front of the card. Use an older HP LaserJet printer and no smears; very clear printing. I've used these for years and they meet the needs.

This worked great in my Brother ink jet printer. To be safe, I fiddled with the settings: I chose "other glossy" for the type of paper; "ink save mode" so it would use the least amount of ink as possible. I printed one sheet at a time, and carefully removed them off to the side to dry so I don't smudge the ink. It will be several days before I do anything with them, so they should be fine. Kind of puzzling that the listing states "ink jet" in the product name, because nowhere on the pkg does it say anything about ink jet, it only says laser printer. So I was prepared for the worst, but it worked out fine.

I bought it for making UV prints based on recommendations on Internet. It looks good quality and worked reasonably well on HP laser printer; I expected better density of blacks but it is nearly the same as on a transparency film. However, on Brother 2270DW printer the toner adhesion was poor and the image was easily smeared after printing (probably because Brother uses lower temperature fuser). While it did not meet my expectations, older office printers will be the best for it.

Really good quality. A bit expensive but worth it.

I printed a family photo and a Christmas wreath with a message which I cut into predetermined circles and put 3 layers into a Christmas tree clear flat disc ball. It worked beautifully.

This vellum works well in my inkjet printer**It is very nice quality, nicely translucent. I work with papercrafting and often need vellum for luminaries and such. This will fit the bill beautifully, and is a good price.**My inkjet printer is fussy about translucent paper, and will not feed it through. To remedy this, I applied a layer of temporary bond glue (I like https://www.amazon.com/Zig-MSB30M1P-Memory-System-Carded/dp/B006ODUQIS ) onto a piece of copy paper. I place the vellum firmly on that and feed it through the "straight-through" feed on the printer. Works very well. The treated copy paper can be used multiple times.

I ordered these to use for my DIY wedding invitations. They have the perfect amount of translucence/opacity. I had my fiancé print half a batch from his work's laser printer. The first few were good but when I gave him more sheets to print, I noticed that the print could be easily rubbed off. So I ordered another pack of 50 sheets and printed the rest at a local UPS store. They printed out crisp, dark, and the toner did NOT rub off. I was able to print two invitations per sheet, and it cost $4 to print 20 sheets at UPS. The UPS worker said he can adjust the paper qualities in their printer, so the machine knows how much toner to put out. This paper saved me a ton of money and I highly recommend this vellum paper for high-quality laser printers.

Had no idea that this was the paper I needed for doing my graphic novel. Wow. So easy to draw on. I'm "tracing" on a light board from the sketches for each page. This paper has such a terrific finish. The borders I drew on with dry erase pen... which of course is made to write, without smearing, on hard surfaces. Having a little trouble using my Pigma pens...just need to start at upper right corner so I don't smear.

I had never used translucent vellum before and had two different projects to do--one involving tracing and one involving laser printing. Unsure which brand of vellum to use, I bought both this item and Clearprint 10001410 Design Vellum, both 50 sheets per pack and both 16 lb. weight. This Strathmore product was less expensive but *vastly* superior for both of my purposes. First and foremost, this vellum is 10-15% less opaque than its Clearprint counterpart, so whatever is beneath it shows through in significantly more detail. Much better for tracing! The Strathmore vellum also worked smoothly with my mid-range HP laser printer, just like regular printer paper, with very little curling and no smearing at all when handled carefully out of the tray. It dried quickly enough that I could stack another copy on top of it within 30 seconds with no problem. By comparison, my printer grabbed multiple sheets of the Clearprint product each time, and the Clearprint vellum jammed my machine on two out of five attempts. Freshly printed Clearprint also curled considerably, smeared easily and took twice as long to dry. Finally, this Strathmore vellum comes loose in the pack, while the Clearprint comes on a tear-off pad that leaves a slightly rough edge. Having had the advantage of a side-by-side comparison, I can recommend Strathmore Laser Translucent Vellum highly!

This vellum is heavier than what I have used before and absolutely love it. I have already ordered a second package. I am using it mostly to reprint some of the pictured I have scanned from various coloring books and love using my colored pencils on this surface. I have also used it in some of my paper crafting projects and find it very easy to handle.Update 8/15/21: I just received my 5th order of this product and although the product number is the same, the paper is not. It is still is 29 lb paper, but the gsm is now 100, instead of 109. I don't know if this will matter to anyone else. Also, the product is no longer shipped in a box—it is just shrink wrapped. My product arrived in good shape, but the potential for damage during shipment is great if not handled carefully. I don't know if I will order this again.
