I use this paper for sketches and finished drawings. It takes all sorts of media very well, including washes, inks and light watercolor. I like the medium surface as it allows for smooth pencil line work as well as good grab for charcoal.All around great paper.

Strathmore products are one of my favorites for doing art. I am taking a drawing class and this the perfect paper as Im doing a lot of practice drawings. The paper is thick so if I want to frame a drawing I think it will hold up. Its wire bound so I can keep the class in one pad 9x12 50 sheets.

PAID: $4.99 on Sep 23, 202450 sheets is a nice manageable thickness for a 9x12 sketch pad. I purchased two as gifts so I haven't tried them myself, but trust the Strathmore brand and this paper for use with colored pencils. I usually try to find the cheapest decent Sketchbooks, so this purchase had everything to do with the 4.99 sale price.

This paper was recommended for me in the course Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. It has been a pleasure to work with. I don’t have a lot of experience working with graphite or with different types of paper but I have been impressed with the range of tones I can get on this paper.

The product is perfect for what I need! Bright, white drawing paper that is 11x14. My only complaint is that it was shipped in an envelope that was bent to fit into my mailbox. Now the binding is already loose before I have used one piece of paper. Please consider using a box for bendable products!!!

Toda mi vida casado con el papel opalina y probé este block para dibujo Strathmore y encontré la clave para mejorar mis dibujos ya que su superficie media ayuda a mejorar considerablemente la calidad de los trabajos. Como pueden ver en las fotografías, su textura "facilita" la obtención de detalles realistas específicamente en la piel, así que lo recomiendo para retratos a carbón o grafito o, como en mi caso, la combinación de ambos.

Good paper for fine liner pens. The 70lb paper gets the job done well. Shipping was quite slow on this product but it made it here eventually. It has a nice smooth tooth to the paper and doesn't kill my pens as fast as other harsher grained paper.
