This fit my trailer perfectly, and the wholes lined up with the previous hitch's wholes from the 1980's. I was worried that they would be off- super glad they were the same! Seemed to be as durable/similar in size and weight to the old hitch

This hitch coupler works great. I had to replace a trailer coupler that had twisted during backing up and would no longer attach properly. Removing the old one took ten times as long as installing this one. I used only bolts and it is a solid connection and works great.

Difficult to attach to ball. Instead of just slipping over, it gets caught and has to be struggled with. I have the time to play with it because I am retired, but others don't have the time

I built my own travel trailer and used this on the trailer frame I welded up. You can either use bolts (what I did) or weld it in place. I figured if I ever needed to change it out the bolts would be the easier option. After 2+ years and thousands of miles of towing my trailer, this has never failed me. No signs of wear/tear or rusting in all those miles. Easy to latch / unlatch with hole for keeper pin to make sure the latch stays closed while traveling or for a lock if leaving your trailer. I plan to build another travel trailer and will purchasing again.
