Wanted small trash bags to fit a 10 gallon galvanized trash can with lid that I use for dog waste. They do that well. Not as thick as contractor bags but not like those terrible leaky office trash can liners either.

Giving 2 stars because they are sturdy and well made. However, there is NO way you can get 10 gallons in these. Getting them to close with more than 5 is a challenge.

I bought these bags because they are 100% recycled material and I love how thick they are compared to other bags I've used. My one downside is they are smaller than I anticipated. We have a small kitchen trash can measuring 15 inches tall. These bags are 24 inches tall so I thought I'd have plenty of over hang and not have to worry about the bag falling in but it seems I only have about an inch or two over hang. On one hand that's good because I'm not wasting plastic with too big of a bag but on the other hand it's bad because when I change the cat litter I'll probably end up with a mess. My solution was using a 5 gallon bucket and it works perfectly. Over all I like these bags and with 250 bags I'm set for quite a while!

Had some other bags that were the same capacity that were physically bigger and had tabs to tie up when full. These don't have tabs but the material is much heavier and can hold more weight just not as much trash. Using a twist tie seems cumbersome on the size and shape of the bag.

We use these for cat litter disposal in an 8gal. garbage bin. They're sturdy/thick enough to hold about 2 weeks worth of cat waste, though they start to slip down from the edges of the can when very full. Not a huge deal, but if you're looking for something closer to the 10gal end of the range that needs to hold heavy things, I would say look for a bigger size.Overall, I'm very glad to have found a good quality recycled plastic trash bag so my cat can go green too, and I would recommend these to others! Could only be better if they were compostable too!

These are great bags. Much stronger than expected. They easily lift their rated 55lbs. (I use them for cat litter)

These trash bags are great. It's got a good thickness and a soft, matte feel to them. They are BLACK in color. I'm happy with the quality. They don't rip so easily like my other thinner, clear bags that I had before.The box contains two stacks of 125 bags, side by side. Luckily I had a couple small boxes from prior Amazon purchases, so I could put each stack into it's own box to make it easier to dispense.
