This basket is well constructed and is perfect for holding seasonings and sauces. My issue with it is that it mounts over the controls on the very popular model sold by Costco. It works as a temporary accessory, but cannot be installed permanently without blocking the controls.$40 at time of order is more than I would be willing to pay for this, but at the current price of $25 I would consider it.

The item is very sturdy, was easy to put together and functions as described. My issue is not with the quality of the product, but with it's compatibility on my particular Treager grill. I have the Pro 575, and the issue is that the basket hangs over the control panel so you have to either remove it and reinstall it whenever you're starting or stopping the grill, or duck down low so you can see the controls. If you are fine with installing it temporarily when needed then it should be perfect for your needs.

It's still very useful. It can hold and hang everything most people would want it to.It's made of powder-coated steel, and it's more than sturdy and rigid enough for its purpose.There are three hooks that can be mounted on the side holes or on the top rim. When mounted they are very loose. If you prefer them not to be loose, there are various ways of preventing them from moving. A dab of glue, a little nano tape, or something wedged behind them to create some friction — anything like that would work. Or you can just leave them as they are. It's a matter of personal preference.It seems perfectly capable of withstanding lots of usage, and many outdoor barbecues.

My spouse won a Traeger grill in a charity raffle. We are thoroughly enjoying learning all it's functions and abilities.This storage bin has been a true asset. It was easy to assemble. It holds enough spice bottles to enhance anything you grill or smoke.It hangs well on the pellet box and does not interfere with the lid closing.We didn't think we would use the hooks much as we have larger magnetic ones for our tools; however, we actually have used them a lot. They are especially handy for hanging a cleanup towel. We have had a bit of an issue with the hooks coming off, since they just slide over the edge. A magnet or some other form of attachment would be an improvement. The basket looks like it was made for the grill, blending in to the overall appearance. So far, it is sturdy and the coating is holding up to frequent use. The pricepoint is in line with Traeger brand accessories... so, a bit overpriced.Overall though, it's a very handy edition.

This is a great option for the lack of space that many a Traeger owner knows about. Say goodbye to placing everything on top of the hopper box...well...almost everything lol. This is extremely easy to install, and doesn't impede closing the lid on my Traeger smoker. The build is nice and it's easy to assemble. The only concession is that the moveable hooks that hold my tools...fall off whenever I remove my smoker's weather cover.

For years now, I've had to keep my utensils and spices on the lid of the pellet box of my Traeger, and then move it all when I needed to check the pellets. I had a side basket for my Blackstone grill, and wondered why no one made one for the Traeger. And then I saw this one!Out of the box, I noticed that the paint job is solid and smooth...no bubbles or peeling.It comes with 3 little hooks for holding utensils, and also the 2 larger hooks that screw onto the basket to hang it off the pellet box.I installed the hooks and hung it on the pellet box, and it stays solid, and the box lid still has room to close easily.It is large enough (and heavy duty enough) to hold everything I need for a long smoke, and the 3 little hooks hold my utensils.I'm very happy with this basket! If you have a Traeger, you gotta get you one of these!

There are no instructions but assembling the two brackets on this storage bin by lining up eight holes for eight screw/nut assemblies is as straightforward as you can get. You will need a #2 Phillips screwdriver and a 9/32 wrench which are not included. The three tool clips just slide on inside the three round cutouts and have no fasteners. We hung the bin on the right side of our Pro 575 pellet hopper and called it a day. A few days later when we used the Traeger, this bin was the natural, better place for all manner of things that we had been randomly setting on other surfaces near the smoker. We are really happy with this deep bin that helps us be more organized without trying.On a negative note, the tool hangers are small, loosely attached and easy to knock off the bin. If you need to use the clips, you may be able to bend them so they grab on better. We decided we didn't need them and put them away somewhere where we will probably never find them. We're okay with that.
