Best Cradle Ever!!I have tried many cradles being that I have 2 houses, our main house and a river house we use in the summer. Therefore, since I have 3 boys, each boy had their own cradle for each house. (Not to mention the cradles my parents had for each child in their house. I do like to change the decor with each child. That's why we purchased and tried so many. This cradle is the best out of them all. Hands down!1. Very modern looking. I like modern decor. I purchased the white cradle. Looks great in any room2 Breathable fabric on the sides. Very airy for the baby. That's key with me. Because cradles are small, I like that the fabric used is cotton and extremely breathable. Also soft to the touch.3. Rocking motion. You can actually rock/swing the baby by pushing the bottom part of the cradle. It's a nice even swaying motion bc basically it's the fabric part that swings the cradle. So no mechanical movements or sounds like other swinging cradles or Woden fitted rocking cradles. It's just very flowy and natural.4. Cradle lifts out of its base to transfer to crib. Huge bonus with this cradle is that at the end of the night, you can lift the actual bed part of the cradle and lay it in your crib. The rim of the cradle is sized perfectly to fit on the rails of most cribs. This way you are lifting the baby as well as the warm bed they have been sleeping in and place it into their crib! Genious! STOKKE got this one right for sure! You have to look on Amazon's description to see what I am talking about. It's hard to explain this part but trust me, it's worth checking out. This feature also will help when you are ready to make the transfer from Bassinet/cradle to actual crib. This way by keeping the baby in their small cradle environmentstill while introducing their new room (not their parents) and their new big crib, the transformation will not be too devistating and happen all at once. They can ease into it by still having something familiar. In this case the bassinet part for a few days or so.With all this said, a big two thumbs up for me with the STOKKE home cradle. To bad it took me to the third kid to get this one right! I would definitely keep this cradle for our next child. Unfortunately 3 children is it for us.Hope this helps!
