Good idea but impractical. Great for hard to reach places but the light shines back in my eyes unless an object blocks that direct light, but then usually also blocking the view to mirror.

This thing is great. The light isn't that bright but is great in the really hard to reach areas. The mirror moves easily but also holds position. Great buy and value compared to what you can get off a tool truck

This has a padded handle that is easy to grip. Two bright LEDs illuminate the area of interest. Mirror is adjustable for any angle. I bought this for home inspections, specifically for looking under the bottom edge of wood or stucco siding. The lights are right at the edge, so the light can be directed straight up, which also means they are not shining directly back into your face. The batteries are accessed under a cover on the back of the mirror. The cover is held on by a small screw, threaded into plastic, and inside there are quantity two of the standard 2032 coin cells. While the advertising and instructions say this is a great Christmas stocking stuffer for boyfriends and handymen, it is a tool that either gender can use year around.

Light is bright for size of mirror. Such a small mirror and angle viewing the lights while great for seeing in dark areas, have a blinding effect. Better having subsidiary lighting to view from mirror. Great for price but I'm thinking I need a bigger mirror for what I need which is in the bilge of a boat
