I love the thickness of this paper as my medium doesn't bleed through. There's plenty of paper for the amount I spent. Will buy again for sure.

I bought this for a young artist who likes to sketch. I was very happy with the quality of the paper. It was nice, good thickness, and great quality. The sketchbook was the right size for a student to be able to put it into their backpack when they aren't using it. When she received the gift, she went straight to sketching and continued to draw all day. It was a great gift.

REVIEW FOR: STILIP 5.5" x 8.5" Sketch BookPAID: $4.22 each on sale (usu $4.99).ORDERED: 10/27/24, a Light Pink and a Light Purple. Three days later I ordered 10 more for family gifting.SUMMARY: Nice product enhanced by covers with "pretty colors", at a fair price. Notably smaller / shorter than the 5.5" x 8.5" competitors (read more below). Probably one of the smallest "A5" Sketchbooks on the market, with a usable sheet height (below the perforation) of 7 3/8”. Portability, compared to similar products, is enhanced by small sheet size and a narrower top spiral. This item does not have hard covers, front or back, for extra stiffness or protection. If you're simply looking for the most pages for your buck, shop around for the ever changing coupons and sale prices; there are lots of options. I mention a couple alternatives below.FIVE STARS FOR:1. UNIQUE AND LOVELY Sketchbook has:- Heavier weight (80 lb) paper than most (68 lb),- Lovely hard-to-find cover colors.- Petite and portable form. Narrower top spiral then sketchbooks with more sheets.2. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE:- Exceedingly prompt responses to my customer support inquiries (via the Amazon seller support bot).- Generous accommodation of customer request for "bulk" pricing.3. SHEET COUNT IS 60: I'm happy to trade off a lower sheet count for a more affordable pad, especially when I'm buying for 'bulk' gifting to children. 100 pages of 80 lb paper would be bulky.4. VERY AFFORDABLE PRICE. It's hard to go wrong, even at full price. If you are not here for the pretty color options or the extra-heavy paper, you could shop around. I've paid roughly similar prices for two other different brands (on limited time sales), but it requires watching closely for coupons and being a shopping ninja.SMALLER THAN EXPECTED!Why is the Stilip so much smaller than my other A5 Sketchbooks?1. The STILIP product title says 5.5" x 8.5". This does not actually match the dimensions printed on its cover: 5.8" x 8.3", which are the true A5 dimensions.2. Many competing Sketchbooks are ACTUALLY 8.5" x 5.5", like the CREHATOS in my photos. BUT The big difference is ...3. Many, but not all, manufacturers claim the dimensions of the sheet UP TO THE PERFORATION LINE. By comparison, STILIP's 8.3" measurement includes the extra paper ABOVE THE PERFORATION LINE that the spiral runs through. The actual usable height of the STILIP sheet below the perforation line is 7 3/8”. That's over 1" difference from the Crehatos sheet with 8.5" usable height.ALTERNATIVES:If you're looking for sturdy hard covers, front and back, you could take a look at the Taja Sketch Book 8.5" x 5.5", which also has some unusual and pretty color options. (One user notes it's usable sheet size is less than the advertised dimensions.) With the 30% coupon on the $5.99 price, it's also a good deal. The absolute best deal I found recently, was the CREHATOS, with oversized hardcovers, and 100 sheets of 68 lb paper, at $6.99 for a 2-pack.But I can't deny the unique and charming niche that this Stilip product fills, and I purchased a whole lot of them.
