The color is nice, the fabric is lightweight but for those who may usually shop a for an athletic cut or need a bigger seat, be advised that there is not much stretch in the material and the fit can be somewhat tight in the thighs. If you are looking for more room in the thighs, I recommend going one size higher than what the size chart recommends.

Like the headline says, these fit great. If you don't mind them dropping just below your kneecap they are awesome. Comfy, holds up so far, unsure about washing yet but we will find out. I probably won't dry them, as they feel as though they will shrink up.I originally ordered a medium for myself because that's what I generally take in mens shorts, but I had to return them and get the Large. Large fits great! They fit so well I bought 2 more pairs!

While these shorts look nice in the ad, the way they fit and feel, no good. The idea of linen shorts is to keep you cool, by encouraging airflow, not my experience with these. I'm a tall 6'1" skinny-ish guy 187# with long skinny legs with a bit of a dad-bod. As one can imagine, finding clothes that fit well can be challenging, especially when it comes to shorts. If I get the wrong type, my legs swim in them. I typically wear a hybrid cargo/messenger short style where I can tighten the bottom hem with the strings provided.Anyhow, I thought I would try to see what other styles are available to me. So, I typed into the search box "best shorts for men with long, skinny legs" and these popped up, so i figured I would give them a try and ordered a Large per the suggestions. When they came in and I tried them, I knew quickly these would not work, it was confirmed when my wife and kids came in, looked at me and started laughing hysterically. Thes things are as tight as bike-shorts, and come down just below the knees, furthermore, they lack breathability, stretch and they look ridiculous. They are lightweight, but that does not mean anything if they don't fit right, and you start sweating as soon as you put them on.Bottomline, I definitely CANNOT recommend these.

Wow ~ love the shorts & I NEVER order clothes online. Have a particular build (athletic, 5 10’ & 155 pounds) where it’s incredibly difficult to find shorts that fit correctly. These shorts run to the knees so if you like your shorts a tad bit longer ~ these will do the trick! I read the reviews & ordered a medium, as suggested from sizing chart.Be aware ~ material is thin BUT ~ it still feels like quality. I ordered the light blue as a test. Now have ordered 3 more pair! Great buy for price ~ hands down

I am 5'8" weigh 145lbs wear a size 40 suit coat and 29" waist in Levi 501s. So I have narrow waist and hips and broader shoulders. In relaxed fit shorts I wear 29", and in some cases a 28", but 30" in standard/classic fit. In the picture they seem to have a narrow fit, which I liked, and combined with the weight guidance I originally bought a M. The were way to big and so baggy in the butt that it seemed like a ladies pant. I exchanged for a S, and they fit as pictured, slim in waist/butt, and longish and narrow in the legs. So I really like the fit of the S and the fabric is light weight linen. The light khaki are more on the yellow side than pictured which is okay, but not what i wanted. Bottom line, buy a size as you would a relaxed fit and ignore, or add 30lbs to, the weight guidance.update: 2/16/21:well after washing (warm/cold, and dry on low heat) and they got bigger! I guess the fabric relaxed from the washing so they ended up almost as baggy as the medium. So I decided, what the hell, I ordered a, extra small (xs). They arrived a tad small but after washing they relaxed and fit well, though, they are about 1" shorter than I would like. So a size that is supposed to be for 90lbs to 110lbs fits a guy who weighs 145 lbs. They are very comfortable for around the house, almost like pajamas, and trips to the market on hot summer days. For $16 they are probably worth it, but prepared to exchange once or twice before finding your size.update 2/17/21:Okay, so I dried the small in high heat to see if it would shrink, and it did. The legs are longer than the xs, the fit in rear is better that it was but not quite as good as the xs. Moral of the story, dry on high heat to shrink to fit, and dry on low heat in order to stretch to fit. every body type is different, but hopefully you can use my experience to help you decide on what size you want.

These shorts are even better than I expected because there's a lot of detail that you don't see in the picture. The way the black and white piping is repeated around the pockets and legs, as well as the interesting way they detailed the back pockets; certainly didn't expect that in shorts in this price range. Fabric is comfortable and fit very well. Sizing is a little disconcerting because I think they're done in Japanese sizes; I typically am a Medium and sometimes a Large (34 waist), but their sizing chart has me as a 2XL. So pay very close attention to the sizing!
