I buy Christmas early so I bought this for my daughter who wanted it. Since it was a Christmas present she only recently used it. The first time she used it it broke. Unfortunately because I ordered it back in November it is no longer eligible for return. Lesson learned.

Got three of them two for my mom and sister and we love them. They work great. Only thing to mention is when shaking the part that pushes the butter out it’s easier if you hold it so the yellow part is angled towards the ground then shake

This dispenser has the right idea but does not work without great strength and dexterity, as well as a soft product.

Its a quirky little gadget but I love it. 2 squeezes and it's 1TBLS. It just makes it easier when cooking to use this than open the wrapper and cut it out with a fork or knife. Sits on the fridge door.** A year and a half later, it broke. It was sticking, would press in but it wouldn't open back up. My husband was able able to fix it so I could use it w both hands but it broke again. I loved it though so I'm buying another one.Worth it!

Here is whats wrongv1. Doesnt work w all butter sticks - both costco & traderjoes sticks are slightly too big to fit in there.2. Slices giant slices, something like 1/4" thick, where it should be a 1/3rd of that!3. Doesnt come apart at all, making it super hard to clean, esp w a bunch of internal, hidden parts and hardware.

Like butter in a standard dish, right out of the refrigerator, it's a struggle to use. It is also not insulated so leaving it on the table, in a warm place, ensures failure. As a mechanic, I really like the no hands needed aspect and I'm perfectly fine planning a few minutes out of the fridge to acclimate. Cuts a very thin slice.
