We have an old style coin-operated pool table and this works well with our rail system in the table

I purchased this after buying a cheaper cue, the cheaper cue was covered in imperfections. This one arrived in perfect condition.

Seems like a good ball, but it's not what I needed for my Valley pool table, it's way over sized, which I was told I needed this over sized ball for my table. Nope I don't, I need the magnetic ball, when looking for a replacement cue ball, if your cue ball isn't a lot bigger, then you don't need this ball.

I ordered this cue ball for our American Legion Coin Operated Table. After researching coin op. cue balls I found there was more than one type. One type is the regular size that has a magnet which keeps it from going in the hopper where the solid and stripes go. And than there is this type the is just a little larger so that it does not go into the hopper (my descriptive wording), but passes over it to the cue ball return shoot. This ball works perfectly for the later type of Coin Operated pool table that I mentioned above. It is also a good quality cue ball that gets a lot of use and we've had no problems with it.When ordering make sure you know what kind of cue ball you require. If it's the same size as the numbered balls it more than likely has a magnet in it, or metal that is attracted to a magnet inside the machine. If when put side by side with a numbered ball the cue ball appears slightly larger than this is the right one.
