We use this as a garbage can. Our dog kept getting into the old can. This has taken care of the problem very well, and for a good price. The holes in the side let the bag come out easily because there no suction action to hold it in there. The hamper actually looks better because it's fairly slim and upright. Just make sure you buy the proper sized bags.

Very fragile , a piece of junk; Amazon wanted me to return it but I had to take it to a UPS facility not even a UPS Store: they wanted me to deal me to deal with the seller; couldn’t take it to UPS so I threw the whole thing in the garbage; you pay Amazon, you buy on Amazon’s website then they want you to deal directly with the seller

Bought this for my teenage daughter recently. So far so good. I think the lid actually helps reminder her to do her laundry when the hamper gets full, better than a pile of clothes on the floor anyway.

I needed a shorter size hamper to fit under clothing in a walk-in closet. These were the only ones I could find that were the correct size. I ordered three hampers, and eventually ordered a fourth when I found out that I could fit another one in my space. Both orders took a very long time to arrive, I kept getting notices that the order was delayed. They arrived without damage and with lids. The hampers are utilitarian, good for a laundry room or a closet. The holes in the hampers allow clothes to vent, but they are not finished very well and have raw edges. I find if I'm not careful I can catch my fingers as I pull clothes out of the hamper. My other complaint is the large very sticky labels on top of the hampers. Since I have them in a closet, I have just left them on because they are extremely hard to remove. These hampers aren't perfect, but they are a convenient size if you're looking for a smaller and shorter plastic hamper.
