Makes a great finger splint. I have used this type of thing since grade school for a broken knuckle on a little finger knuckle that was broken in grade school. I had to wear a full cast up to my elbow for about 4 months, so I do not wish to re-injure. This is an old injury. Thrilled to not have to beg my Dr. to give me any tongue depressors.

I am using these to apply burn cream to a gauze dressing, so they work fine; however, they are not 100% smooth no the edges so if you're applying something directly to your skin, you just need to use care.
