I use these for waxing and also for various hobbies and they strike me as a cut above the rest. Just a little sturdier and smoother than others I have tried.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsAs someone who works in the medical field, I rely on tongue depressors for a variety of tasks. The Henry Schein Sterile Tongue Depressors consistently deliver on their promise of quality and reliability. The Good:Sterility: These depressors arrive individually wrapped and sterile, which is essential for any medical use. This helps ensure a clean and safe environment for both the patient and the practitioner.Splinter-Free: I've never encountered a splinter with these depressors, which is crucial for patient comfort and avoiding any accidental injuries.Versatility: Beyond their primary purpose, I've found these depressors surprisingly useful for various crafting and art projects. Their smooth, sturdy wood provides a good surface for painting, gluing, and other creative endeavors.Value for Money: The 100-pack provides a generous supply for both medical and non-medical uses, making them a great value for the price. The Not So Good:Slight Variation in Thickness: There's a slight variation in the thickness of the depressors within a box. This is not a major issue, but it's something to be aware of if you need precise uniformity for certain applications.Cost Analysis:I purchased a box of 100 depressors from Amazon for $8.99. This is very competitively priced compared to similar products from other brands. I've found that similar quality depressors can sometimes cost more, especially from other medical supply companies.Recommendation:The Henry Schein Sterile Tongue Depressors are a dependable and versatile product that I highly recommend. Their quality, sterility, and affordability make them a great choice for both professional and personal use. Whether you need them for medical procedures, creative projects, or anything in between, these depressors are a reliable and trustworthy tool.

Nice value box of depressors. I keep a few in all my aid kits - they come in handy as a disposable tool or splint in a pinch. Because they are individually wrapped and sterile, I have no problem using them around wounds or in mouths. I keep a few in my shop too for spreading glue or shimming. Very versatile!

These depressors are very smooth! They do not have jagged edges that cause splinters, splits, and breaks. The ends are nicely rounded. Great quality for many uses. Will purchase again! Great buy and value.

This box of sterile tongue depressors are great. Mine arrived a little crushed, but it’s fine. The best thing about these tongue depressors is that not only are they individually wrapped and sterile, but they are clearly marked with the expiration date.It always pays to get a brand-name product! For the price of $7.65 (at the time of this review) for a single box, it is a very good value.I would highly recommend these tongue depressors!

This reasonably priced package of wooden tongue depressors is individually wrapped in plastic packaging that claims to be sterile. I see no reason to doubt the claim. They're obviously intended primarily for medical use, with lot numbers stamped on each wrapper.Actual measurement is 5 7/8" x 11/16".They may not be the best choice if you intend to use them for crafts, as you'll need to unwrap each one (and generate a lot of wrapper waste doing it). For that use, items sold as craft sticks and bulk packaged would be a much better choice. These are made of higher quality wood than I've seen on most craft sticks, and are finished smooth with soft edges.

I create small first aid kits for dog handlers, and one thing I like to include is tongue depressors because they are useful for so many things. I love the fact these are individually wrapped, keeping them clean until they need to be used. The ones I checked didn't seem to have splinters, but I didn't check them all of course (defeats the purpose of individually wrapped!). Decent price for my use!
