Great product, fit like glove, working as expected, more than half the price of OEM (if you can even find one). No mow May turned into half of June as well. But I am up and cutting once again. The wild horses will be disappointed that i mowed their hay!

Found the bearing in this flat pulley worn when tuning up my mower deck. This is not an original equipment pulley. However, it may be of higher quality; it seemed very good to me. Whenever you have your mower off the tractor, it would be a good idea to check both flat pullies for bearing wear. With two new spindles and one new flat pulley my mower makes a good deal less noise than the engine on my John Deerea LA115 garden tractor and with new wheels and sharpened blades it cuts smooth as a dream..PS This is also a good time to check the brakes on each V pulleys that mount to the mower blade spindles. This is my second deck on my LA 115 John Deere garden tractor. On both decks, the factory setting wore out one of the brakes long before the other was worn. If you adjust them so they both engage at the same time, it will stop the mower blades better and keep the wear even. These brakes are required by federal law to stop the mower blades rapidly anytime the mower is stopped. *Helps to keep foolish people from losing fingers and toes.

They are what they are. Solid, durable and fit nearly any John Deere deck. But the ad does not specify that they fit a 54" deck so I had to do quite a bit of research before I bought them to ensure they fit. All in all a good buy and good service. I will buy them again if my mower last that long.
