The recommended size was medium but I wanted to take a chance on the small and I’m glad I did. I’m 5’0 and 118 but thick waisted. The waist has abundant stretch and is comfortable. The compression shorts might be a tad longer than I’d like but they are also comfortable. I bought them to play tennis in and like that they have zipper pockets plus pockets on the compression shorts too. The fabric is light but there is nothing that feels cheap about them. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and size choice and would buy again.

These are perfect for running, and playing pickleball/tennis. Fit perfectly. Love how they have pockets in the underneath shorts as well as the outer shorts. Perfect to keep my phone safe and to hold and extra ball of needed. So comfortable. Will be buying more for sure

I've purchased many pairs of these perfect shorts and will do whenever they go on sale. They fit true to size, the waistband is flat and flattering, the pockets have zips, and are big enough to be useful without being bulky, the boy short liner is oh so soft and they don't ride up or chafe. I live in them and do 20 miles a week or more in them. They wash well in cold and I hang them up to dry, which they do, quickly, and they're holding up very well. I learned that Stelle is a women owned business, and I'm happy to support them and also not surprised a woman designed these excellent shorts. Rec them highly 👍 Mrs K here.

Love these shorts! They are so comfortable and true to size. I purchased size small. I’m 5’4 and $125 lbs. I purchased in multiple colors because I liked them so much. The under short does not ride up while running. And there are four pockets. Two side pockets on the under shorts and two side zip pockets on the outer short. Material is soft and light but not cheap feeling. Would recommend!

I have a very, very difficult finding shorts to wear.I have always had larger legs and thighs and tend to carry some weight in my butt/hips (my body is 'pear' shaped). Because of this, I tend to be extremely picky in that don't like shorts to be too short, too tight, or with my cheeks hanging out the bottom. I also don't like it when shorts ride up between my legs and I have to constantly pull them down.These were my first time trying 2 in 1 shorts and I love them so far. I love that the under layer is stretchy, but stays put on my legs. I also really like that they are a bit longer so I stay fully covered and my thighs don't chafe when walking/running. I love that the top layer is looser so they still look like shorts and not underwear.I was very surprised to learn they have 4 pockets! both the underlayer and overlayer have pockets! I can fit my cell phone in the lower layer pocket. The overlayer pockets can be zipped close and are great for lighter objects.What can I say? I'm really happy with these shorts. I ordered two pair and they both fit the same.The material is also very light weight, soft, stretchy, and great for warmer months.

These are great shorts! But there are a couple reasons for why I am giving 4 stars and not 5.1.) These are not high waisted; they sit comfortably an inch below my belly button.2.) The spandex underneath could be tighter. I did size up because I have hips and a booty but as another reviewer said, the outer layer was a bit tighter so I sized up for that (glad I did!).Ok now for what I do really like.1.) The length is great. I would recommend sizing up especially if you are a "sometimes" size like me. Sometimes a 10 sometimes a 12. I like more room in my hips and butt as well especially for tennis and hiking.2.) The pockets are big and fit my phone! Probably would be good for tennis balls buy haven't tested that out yet.3.) So comfortable and breathable. I have ordered another pair!
