Wore this for Halloween .. I was a plague doctor..It's a plastic mask fit well after adjustment and appears to be more expensive then it I'd also doesn't smell like overpowering.. loved it

Straight up, the picture in the listing is not what you get. The listing is most likely a custom piece someone handmade with leather, and what you get in return is a cheap latex knockoff. I've had this for about a year now as of writing this review, so I've become custom to how poorly it's made (along with the strong smell of latex still not vanishing) and have created adjustments to it. The plastic lens fog up fast and will require you to frequently remove the mask to wipe the lenses. And the strap I've had to add holes too because it sat too loose on my head. For it's money worth you're basically getting what you expect.

Got this for my BF for Halloween. It looked really neat. But he said it fogged up really bad and it was hard to see and breathe out of. We will have to experiment with drilling holes for more air exchange.

I got this mask to replace the one included with the plague doctor costume my husband bought, as it was a bit flimsy and cheap-looking. This one is great. It’s made of a rubbery material but looks like leather. Only issue is that it is made for a tiny head. There are three straps—two on either side and one on top—that are supposed to meet in the back and buckle together. The two side ones are fine but the top strap comes maybe 2/3 of the way back. We made it work by slipping some ribbon in the buckle hole and then attaching it to the two side straps. Also,to the holes on the top strap we’re not completely punched, so we had to fix that, too. Not enough of issues to send back given the good look of the mask, but still annoying.

I purchased this for Halloween costume, we went trick or treat, I did have to take it off as i could not breathe and it was getting pretty foggy.. when I took it off I notice this liquid dripping down.. It was pretty gross, cant say it was sweat as it was a cold night, but it sure was the condensation of the breading into the rubber.Its a good mask to keep it on for nothing over 5 minutes, if longer perhaps drilling more holes on it may help.

Great for unsettling plague phobic folks on Halloween. Works far better for psychological effect than cloth mask. Should be used in conjunction with stink bomb.I should have gotten a black leather one however.

I absolutely loved this mask! I will be using it a lot in my photography with other props. Its easy to see out of this mask and it is very comfortable.Wonderful quality for the price point. I would definitely buy from this seller again. I put mountain dew in a syringe for the picture but it wasnt bold enough i will have to try again with something else but the mask is fantastic! Thank you!

This is a pretty cool mask for the money. The detail of the artwork is so so up close but looks just fine from a couple of feet away. It's about what I expected for it's low price point. I am an average sized adult male and the mask fit quite well. I did not have any issues with the breathing holes. My one recomendation is to wash the inside of the mask out with a mild dish soap like Dawn to aleviate that "New Latex" smell. Over all this was a good value purchase and it feels durable enough to last for many a Halloween to come.

Best purchase I’ve ever made. I love cosplaying and doing fun things like this (personally because it’s my hyperfixation) but I love it so much!!!!! I wear it everywhere and I bought it so I could add a little fun to having to wear a mask everywhere!!! I’m pretty sure it’s latex so if you do have an allergy get one of the leather ones. It feels a little flimsy at first but not bad once you get it on and feel it. The eye holes aren’t very prone to fogging which was a huge surprise to me, including when I wear a mask my glasses always fog. The eye holes are tinted but it’s just like wearing a pair of sun glasses and not at all bad, a bit of a smell but not pungent, just rubber smell. Highly recommend
