These taillight guards are not just for looks. They are heavy, thick steel and have excellent fit and finish. Slight bending on mounting brackets for minor adjustments were all that was needed. After having to replace two tail light lens housings from very minor impacts, I believe these were a good investment.

Installed on a 2011 V6 Toyota Tacoma, TRD. I had read a lot of reviews (and watched several YouTube videos) whereby most noted 'fussy installation' and needing to 'bend the brackets to fit properly, but I'm here to say that, though installation was indeed a little fussy on the first one, I did not need to bend anything, and like most things, after you install one correctly, from then on, it's a breeze. I am very pleased. They are built well, great painted finish. They look and feel beefy compared to the many plastic and flimsy versions I have seen over the years. I would recommend the guards to anyone.

Nice quality but to get perfect fit you have to adjust. At least that was my experience.

Awesome product, got them for my 2015 prerunner, install literally only took 30 minutes to install. They look great and are high quality. No issues at all with figment.

This was ordered for the wife's Tacoma and was delivered as described. The instructions on one part were a little odd, but it all installed without issue and fit perfectly. The wife is very happy with the way her truck looks and it was worth it. We would purchase it again.

I don't normally take the time to do these, but I have no idea where the negative reviews for this product are coming from. It arrived quick, is built solid, took less than 15 minutes to install with nothing more than a socket wrench, absolutely zero bending or fitting or trial and error, tailgate closes just fine, looks awesome. Couldn't be happier.

I don’t like how the brackets go either up against the tail light or hit the tail gate when closing even after adjusting the tabs. Plus the tabs make it hard to put the lower thing to snap in. It looks good no doubt when it’s all together, but the gap between the tail gate and tail light are just too close to each other to fit something between them without causing damage to the paint.

Bought these to protect the taillights on my 09 DCLB taco. Easy installation only had to bend the end of one bracket which was very minor. Very sturdy,hold up well, and look great.
