This steel wire core flip line is solid and sturdy, and easy to flip while climbing tree. Adjustable rope tensioner is very helpful to tighten or lengthen line as needed for climbing. Not for use around power lines.

Bought this for my husband. He's a contractor and on occasion has requests for trees to be taken down. The quality of this steel core flip wire is excellent and he can't wait to put it to use.

I'm really pleased with this purchase. As a beginner arborist, I wanted maximum protection while working in trees, and this steel core line feels solid and makes flipping much easier. The only downside is that the 8-foot length can be a bit short for larger trees, and it does get harder to use if pitch or sap builds up on the line. Overall, though, Iām very satisfied with it so far!

If I had paid more I would rather the braking device be easier to use, but at this price it's fine. I won't be using it a whole lot so it's fine for me. Nice rope and all that.
