If you need some replacement knives these are perfect. They are stainless steel and can be put in the dishwasher. They have a slightly serrated edge. I was unsure at first whether to order as in the description the age range notes for toddler. These are not knives for toddlers.

This review is for JIEYANG Dinner Knives, Stainless Steel..., $19.99The description is a little confusing. Is it a set of 4 or set of 12? There are TWELVE knives in the package.The knives that came with my cutlery that I got decades ago were dull as butter knives. Later on I bought a set of 8 that were similar in style, but much sharper. These 12 knives are replacing those that are looking a little long in the tooth. These knives are mildly serrated and decently sharp. Because they're serrated, I don't consider that they can be sharpened, but I have 4 extra so I can throw some away if they get dull or bent over the years and still have a complete set of 8.

This review is for the product listed as, “JIEYANG Dinner Knives, Stainless Steel, Set of 4 (Steak Knives Set of 12)." Spreads butter and cuts steak. I love these knives. They match my other dinnerware and they can be used as a butter knife or a steak knife. They are serrated on one side for cutting and the other side is for spreading. They have a great feel to them too.

Looks pretty fancy and well built. The edges are sharp enough as for a dinner knife. The polish is pretty solid and complements modern table setting. Nice set of knives for the money.

I recently moved and only have sharp knives for some reason. I unfortunately cut myself one time so I knew I needed to buy duller knives for everyday use, such as spreading butter or cream cheese. This has been great as they are very sturdy and sharp enough to cut through breads while dull so I don't cut myself again!
