These are well engineered space saving bike racks. I bought 6 of these for an apartment bike room, and it allows a more efficient use of the space. They are a somewhat expensive, but the are well designed and seem to be sturdy.

I installed 4 of these on the wall for our families bikes. I didn’t have an open wall so I bolted a 3/4 piece of plywood to a heavy duty storage rack in my garage and installed these directly onto it, which works marvelous. The ability to swing these one way or the other helps with space savings and accessibility when you want to get out a specific bike from the group. Highly recommend

Bought the fender rack 2-pack. Used one for my TREK FX Sport 5. Works great. But, hanging a bike with fenders is difficult. The rack does not fit cleanly around the tire and between the fender supports. Also, BEWARE the instructions that say to use a 10 mm and 8 mm drill bits - these bits result in holes that are too large for drilling into wood studs.

Der Fahrradhalter ist sehr stabil und er macht einen sehr fertigen Eindruck.Wir haben auch einen günstigeren für ein anderes Fahrrad aber ich würde nur noch den Steadyrack nehmen.

Had for 2 months now. Attached to concrete block wall in garage with hardware supplied. So easy to get bike on and off. Seems extremely well built. Total game changer to keep smaller garage organized.

Our four bikes were all over the garage. Making it very difficult to move and very difficult to access the bicycles. We found some wall space and were able to mount them on the wall. The bike rack allows them to be folded against the wall to minimize their impact on the overall garage space. They’re well constructed, easy to install and very functional. I would recommend them highly.

I bought the two pack for two road bikes and the separate fender pack for two cruisers I had taking up too much space in my garage. Prime shipping was fast and these shipped via USPS. The packaging was compact and easy to open with a box cutter. I had been following this company since they were a kickstarter and had seen their videos so I knew what to expect when I received their product. The steadyrack themselves are well built and you can tell a lot of thought has been put into everything from the design, the packaging, the instructions, their website and so on.Before you get started you need the following items: a box cutter, a tape measure, a pencil, a Philips screwdriver, a socket wrench, a spirit level, a 13mm socket, and the instructions call for a 10mm and a 8mm drill bits, but I used 1/4" and 3/16" drill bits. I also purchased a studfinder from Amazon to ensure I got my holes just right.Steady rack has an excellent installation video on their website at steadyrack.com/video, but their instructions are fairly clear as well and are written using metric as well as imperial measurements. It is very clearly stated that you must mount the Steadyrack into framing studs or masonry or it will void the 12 month warranty. You should not fix the Steadyrack directly to drywall.Installation took about 10 minutes per rack. I'm glad they made these fender versions because they worked perfectly with the fenders on my cruiser style bikes.Overall, this is a high quality item and worth the price paid considering I foresee this lasting many years to come. It frees up valuable space, holds the bike without damaging or putting stress on the tire or frame, and is very easy to load/unload. This is also a great company with excellent customer service who backs their product 100%.

This rack excels in saving space without compromising accessibility. I’ve been using the Steadyrack ‘Fender’ and ‘Classic’ models for the last 6 months and they’ve worked great. I’m now done with the ‘ceiling hoist’ racks, and my teenage daughter can now put her own bike away.Pros:- saves space- Allows bikes to swing or pivot against the wall- Bikes can be mounted as close as 14” apart and still pivot against the wall- Relatively simple installation and online videos available- Simple to put bike up and downCons:- not the cheapest solution- Drywall anchors included are inadequate (try and use a wall stud)I use the Steadyrack Fender racks to hold two 26” beach cruisers with large front fenders. The bikes are held vertically with the rear tire just off the ground. Just tip the bike up on its rear wheel and roll it onto the rack, and swing the bike to the side until the handlebar meets the wall (tires remain against wall while bike rotates to either side).Installation considerations:- Installation instructions state bikes can mount as close as 14”. This works for similar bikes (two beach cruisers or two mountain bikes), but with different bike types the handle bars can interfere with each other. You need to move them farther apart or stagger one higher off the ground.- Drywall anchors included are totally inadequate. Do not use these to mount into Sheetrock without a stud. I suggest using Snaptoggle type anchors (Home Depot, etc.).One reviewer marked this product down for the poor wall anchors. This isn’t unique to this product, included anchors are usually junk. Weight bearing items usually mount to a wall stud for support. I prefer not to pay extra for a product to include quality anchors, and if needed I purchase my own.If your priorities are space and convenience I strongly suggest you look at this rack. The ceiling racks I used were hard for my wife and I to use, and way too difficult for my kids. The bikes just weren’t getting used. I hope this review is helpful in selecting a bike storage solution.
