Wow so fast and easy to install. Just watch all the different videos on YouTube to see how to install without taking everything apart Only took me 15 minutes to install and program. Works great!!! I should have done this years ago. I like how this package comes with zip ties so I can neatly store all the wires

I'm not one for leaving many reviews. However this is one of those. I can't believe I didn't do it sooner purchases. I watched the tutorial video one time. Popped apart the dash, installed the module as instructed. It worked flawlessly. One of the easiest products I've ever installed in a vehicle. Only tool needed was a screw driver. Literally took me a whole 15min to install it and put the dash back together.

Bought this product for our 2019 Toyota Highland. Very simple DIY install with zero vehicle mechanical experience. Simple video to understand with step by step instructions.

Installed it on my Toyota CHR and works like a charm. Took me 1hr to remove all the panels from my car since I'm not a car guy but installing the wires and programming the device is pretty easy.

Was skeptical that this would be as easy as it was with our newly purchased 2019 C-HR. Read the rest of the reviews, checked out a few videos and figured we would give it a go..As long as you look up how/where to remove the panels in your vehicle (which is pretty easy online) the rest is simple. The connection for the ECU was a little tight in the car but with a little patience and gentle touch, it was pretty simple to get everything together properly. The connections are pretty fool-proof - you know what part goes where and there's no room for error. Once you connect everything and follow the directions in the pamphlet to program it, it simply works.Considering you can use the existing keyfobs and don't have to pay $700+ for a professional install, it's a pretty awesome alternative. Glad we bought it!

My 9 year old son and I spent a little over an hour installing this in my 2018 Toyota C-HR (push button start). The videos on the website were for a Highlander which didn't really help in the disassembly or panels and location of specific wiring harnesses. Had to figure it out for myself. Once I was able to locate the 2 different harnesses (and one very difficult to reach), the rest of the installation and setup was super easy. Product works as described. My only suggestion would be to have model-specific videos uploaded to the website for ease of installation.

Works great and it only took 45 minutes to install. Instructions were not really clear once you opened up the dash to plug it in. Had to watch Youtube videos to figure out how to install this. For a short synapsis of the install.step 1) remove the plastics from the door sill to the dash and don't forget the nut at the very end by the brake pedal.step 2) Remove the 10mm bolt and 4 screws that holds the bottom dash panel to the upper panelstep 3) turn the steering wheel left and remove the screw and then right to remove the second screw.step 4) separate the plastics on the steering wheel and also the upper and lower dash (this will not separate fully (Thanks Toyota)step 5) celebrate that you are half way done and spent about 30 minutes to get to this step by drinking a cold beverage of your choice.step 6) unplug the ignition cable from the steering column and plug it into the T connector and plug the T connector back into the column (refer to video)step 6a) watch the video to verify which damn plug to swap out of 5 identical plugs (about 5 to 8 minutes) and router the cabling back into this cavity (this will be the final resting place for the unit)step 7) unplug the correct plug and plug it into the T connector and plug the T connector into the module you unplugged fromstep 8) (this is not covered very well in the instructions) While pressing the programming button on the side of the box, plug in the black connector on the wiring harness into its socket. Don't let go of the buttonstep 9) the lights on the box will cycle through a pattern of red, yellow, red/blue, and blue this pattern continues until you release the button, release the button when the blue light is on. once you release the button you can insert the remaining connecters to their sockets.step 10) press the push to start button twice without the brake pedal and wait for the blue LED to flash (once it is flashing it is programmed) turn the car off and test by pressing lock 3 time slowly ( about 1-2 seconds between presses)step 11) spend 15 minutes and a couple of cold drinks to tie up the device and put the dash and door sills back together. All in all this was not hard but my plastics would not line up correctly on putting this together. Now I want to say that the install of this module was just as hard on my Ford F150 but it was not. On my Ford it took 5 minutes to install. I got in the Truck unclipped the wire harness from the back of the OBDII port plugged in the T harness, plugged in the black connector, turned on the key and released when the LED was blue, plugged in the other connectors, shut down the truck, tested, and the zip tied everything under the dash. 5 minutes (10 minutes tops to play with the starter to show family and neighbors) (it was also -2F outside when I installed these devices). I had no disassembly to do on the truck other than to unclip the OBDII port. I hope this helps someone and I would not recommend doing this in cold weather due to the fact that the door of the car remains open because the lower dash assembly blocks the door (or you can just crush it) but this is a good spring time project or heated garage.

My wife LOVES this product and it saved us the $800+ dollars the dealer wanted. Let me say that again. My wife LOVES this product and it saved us the $800+ dollars the dealer wanted. and again... My wife LOVES this product and it saved us the $800+ dollars the dealer wanted. and just one more time... My wife LOVES this product and it saved us the $800+ dollars the dealer wanted. The remote start works almost exactly like my Toyota Sequoia Platinum. Click LOCK 3 times and hold down the 3rd a moment and it starts which is great because summer is HOT and getting into a cool car rocks, and winter is COLD and getting into a WARM car rocks! It also keeps the door LOCKED and car safe. It's so convenient. She starts the car from her house and by the time she gets to the car it's ready. To stop it, it will stop on it's own in around 10 minutes or so. I haven't timed it on either car. You open the handle, with keys in hand, and it stops. Or you click lock 3 times and hold down the 3rd lock a moment and it stops. This is the main difference between my Sequoia and the Highlander. The video instructions could be a lot better. There's another manufacturer that gives excellent instructions but I'm glad I bought it here as the product here has a better cable and they offer free returns! Also, the seller contacted me to make sure I had bought the right product and understood what was going on. I appreciated that hands on experience. The installation itself was easy. Opening the dash was scary on a 40k car and these instructions don't quite cover that. You can find it on youtube but you basically:*Press start* WITHOUT putting foot on break, twice. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, exposing the Phillips screw. The screw is surprisingly loose but the steering wheel is stiff. Then turn it the opposite way and remove that screw. After that, you unlock the steering wheel and pull it up. Then using the tool sent you gently pry apart the two plastic steering wheel parts. They come apart like a cheap snap toy. Then you find the two phillip head screws at the bottom of the dash and remove them. Then, using the pry you undo the side plastic thing. It comes on easily but getting it back on might require the rubber hammer. There is a little plastic thing under the emergency break that my wife took off. I took off the BIG plastic strip that goes along the drivers side. Then unsocketed the 10mm socket that holds it together. This big plastic thing comes off easily and you don't need to take it all the way off. It also goes on easily when you put it back together. Now you locate the black plug under the steering column and simply unplug it and plug it into the awesome cool cord they send. Then you carefully run the cords thru the back which is easy because of the minimal connections. Then you find the white plug in the back. It comes out surprisingly easy and snaps into the same adapter and plug it back into the plug.Remember, all this time your car will have still been on.Then there's a black connector that goes into "the magic box". While pressing down on the button of hope, you plug the black connector in and don't take your finger off the button until it turns blue. When it does I quickly plugged everything in, and it started to blink blue. We pressed the start button on the car (without depressing the brake) and the box turned orange. Maybe this is an error? But it worked. Everything worked perfectly. Everything. So we put it back together and closed the hood because YOU WILL OPEN THE HOOD. If you don't open the hood then you need to change professions and become a mechanic/technician.Snap and screw everything back together in reverse order and MAKE SURE YOU DON'T IMPEDE THE EMERGENCY BREAK. Don't worry, with this great, no extraneous cable cord, you will not. You don't even need the ties. And you are done. This is unbelievably easy. Especially once you reconcile the instructions with the videos and a nervous wife. So, thank you, thank you, thank you!!! -- awesome product! Love ya! Best thing I've bought in a LONG time. My wife is super happy and thinks I'm a superhero. This was her birthday present. Now where can I get a safe and easy LED light upgrade for my 2016 Toyota Sequoia Platinum and all will be well in the world. Except that virus, I guess...
