The case is pretty solid, considering how small it is. There appears to be some insulation where the lid meets the bottom of the case. This should help keep water out and also cushion any impact from a drop. The cut outs are precise and the foam is very soft inside.The hinge has a metal rod in the back to for added support and the front clips have a nice click when locked in place. I didn't see any spot for a lock though. But being that it's so small a lock won't do much to deter a thief.Hope it last a long time. Overall a good investment.

I don't personally have a Pocket 3 but I DO have a very expensive gimbal phone stabilizer that I don't have a case for and isn't much bigger than the Pocket 3 and figured I'd try and "modify" the foam so my investment in the gimbal is protected!The case is very sturdy and has good functional latches and of course it has cutouts to fit EXACTLY a Pocket 3 and some of the accessories it has. However, as mentioned I don't have a Pocket 3 but DO have an expensive phone gimbal stabilizer that needs protecting. As the gimbal is "one piece" it doesn't "fit" in the "separate cutouts" that fit a Pocket 3 perfectly. The foam inside is a good quality dense foam which makes it actually "easier" to modify by cutting it where I needed to. (If I had a Pocket 3 I would have been very happy with the cutouts as they are smooth and "accurate" IMO.) I cut one "channel" between the two larger storage "bays" and placed the gimbal in a "bent position " so the entire gimbal was securely in the foam protection and wouldn't move and the lid was able to close securely! I was also able to store the gimbal "add on" light in the small cutout too! I took out less than a 1/2" piece of the interior foam (Which is excellent quality for equipment like this IMO.) and was able to use an excellent case for a different product that was very expensive and really needed a case to protect it!This is a good solid quality case for smaller electronics/accessories that is reasonably priced and you receive a case that is a good value for the money IMO. (I have "professional protection cases" for some items that I have, and they are substantially more expensive!!!!) This case does the job for the "type" ($$) of items it is protecting and is a good value IMO.

I've been using this Waterproof Hard Case for my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 while out fishing. This case does a good job of keeping my camera dry and safe from the occasional drops that happen when you're on a boat.✅PRO: The customizable lining is a fantastic feature; it really helps secure the camera and accessories, so I don’t have to worry about them moving around during transport. Plus, the side handle is super convenient for carrying it around while juggling my fishing gear.TIP: The paracord handle frays if it gets caught on sharp edges. It’s something to keep an eye on.

The STARTRC PHOTO Waterproof Hardcase for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is a fine storage case to protect your gear from falls and foul weather. My only concern is that the plastic around the hinges is a bit sharp, leaving me with some broken skin when I was handling the hard case. Upon closer inspection, I also found that the hinge pins were slipping out of place. I fixed this by filing down the sharp plastic and putting a dab of super glue on the end of the hinge pin where it is designed to stay fixed to part of the plastic hinge.Another minor inconsistency I found was that the included instructions described how to release the one-way pressure release value. The actual case seems to have a fixed pressure release valve that cannot be removed, despite what the instructions say. No biggie...but worth noting that the instructions may be for another version of this case than what they ship with.

This is a very well made rugged hard case for your Pocket 3. It's similar in design to cases from Pelican and Harbor Freight's Apache brand with the benefit of already having the foam cut outs for your Pocket 3 and accessories. It has a rubber gasket between the lid and vent valve making this waterproof and able to adapt to changes in altitude. I generally like the layout. I like that the battery handle and tripod can be stored together attached to one another.There are spaces for everything that comes with the creator bundle with the exception of the mic's dead cat (wind muff). There are places to store filters and SD cards. For my modest 4 filter set, I have to stack them onto each other.The 2 things that aren't the greatest is that you can't store the mic with the dead cat on it. There's just enough room to store it in the space with the tripod and battery grip. It would be nice to keep these as one piece or have a cutout just for the dead cat. The second is the filter storage. I like my filter set's little magnetic storage case and don't like storing my filters in the lose filter slots. Some other cases have zippered pouches in the lid to store these kinds of accessories. I don't think that's an option with a hard case like this because the lid has egg crate foam to protect the main contents. I think this is something you can work around but wanted to point that out in case people have additional accessories they might want to store in the case.Overall this is a very nice rugged case. If you're doing some rugged adventuring and need more protection for your pocket 3 than the typical soft case provides this is an outstanding option.
